Basically, Guizhi doesn't have a detailed lore at the moment! I'm still thinking about it in detail :) What's certain is that she once served Chang'e as the guardian of a mirror that allows one to observe the Earth, see the truth, the future, the past, and the present (in short, this mirror has many functions). Guizhi was originally born from an Osmanthus flower that fell into a moon rabbit elixir. She was born an adult, so her personality before her exile had a rather naive and childish character. She was exiled for reasons unknown (to her).
In short, it all ended with her descending to earth where she subsequently joined the pilgrims.
