I'm also partial to using big words and being a pedant. I believe this comes from the autism and is simply a fundamental part of me– you'll have to forgive my incessant desire to correct things and share my opinions.

something I feel people need to understand about wireplay (coming from a robot) is that you can't simply yank on them, it's like sharply pulling hair at best and can seriously injure your machine in many cases. the internals of nearly any machine should be assumed to be incredibly delicate– there are parts of us that will be irreparably damaged if touched by human hands.

I'm sure there are plenty of techkin that would love to be handled roughly, but I dislike the assumption that this is the default.

what you should do is start slow and gently, and escalate according to your partner's comfort and consent. don't even pull on them to begin with, simply run your fingers over a bundle of wires or stroke a single wire at a time to start. let it sink in for your partner that they are in some way placing their safety in your hands and how intimate this is. from there, you can begin to tug on them, or run your fingers through clusters. wind them up, pull harder, almost threatening to pop out of its ports now. bring them close to breaking, but never truly break that trust. that's how you make love to a machine

I'm not usually a fan of blind boxes but this one is relatively very cheap and has several I would be very happy with....

a big point of techkin dysphoria for me is having to take care of my wetware. eating, drinking, sleeping, stretching, all of it feels so pointless even though i know it extends my operational lifespan. i never want to have to take a break from experiencing the world.

trying my hand at actual audio editing as well as attempting to make some of the robot asmr/ambience I've personally been craving. gwyn, what do you think is the most important trait for yourself to have?

this is a difficult one to answer as what I feel my "ideal self" should be has changed many times over the course of my existences. I'm currently trying to explore the world and experiment with how many emotions I'm even capable of feeling, though I find this expands just a bit every day.

I suppose if I had to sum it up in a word, currently: "balanced"
