Changing my writing
I just unpublished my star wars fanfiction, that i released earlier this year.
I had been trying to write it ever since the first lockdown. There were drafts upon drafts and i experience a lot of issues due to a language barrier. Turns out writing in English is harder than i thought.
I have never been the biggest fan of AI and after some thought i decided to have AI help me writing my fanfic. My propmts were large and i did most of the work so i didn't see a large issue with it at the time.
Last week i revisited everything i published and came to the conclusion that it just didn't feel like 'my' fanfiction as the chapters went on. I felt so much imposter syndrome as i read others' stories and on top of it: Helped destroying the planet in the progress of making mine.
I also didn't feel satisfied with the way i had build my story. There was a lot of details that needed to be added and feel like it wasn't as interesting to read.
This is why i'm rewriting it. On my own this time. It's going to be flawed but in the end it will be mine.
