Contrary to what our Originals would classify themselves as, they aren’t all Gryffindor’s or Slytherins. @maggiexblackwell is absolutely a Ravenclaw, she’s far too calculating and into understanding everything she can and @sophianygaard, the woman has like seven thousand degrees so Ravenclaw is the only true choice for her @dominikgreyson, @lukasblackwells and @josblackwell are all absolutely Slytherins. Everything they’ve done has really been for their benefit, no one forget that Jos literally had her own version of Death Eaters…. Voldemort much? @nathanielxgreyson and @daralisgreyson are the definition of Gryffindor, bold and brave and daring and maybe just a titch pompous and full of themselves but with swagger to spare and @noahxblackwell and @elena-greyson are the Hufflepuffs, loyal to their families and like the honey badger, they’re chill until provoked.

Linking her arm through his and leaning her head on his shoulder, Evie’s growing smile couldn’t be contained. It was nice to have Nik back in her life, and even though she knew he was angry with her, knew she deserved his anger, still still treasured the small moments like this when things felt almost normal. “Say no more.” She said with a grin, pulling back from his side and taking his hand into hers, tugging on it gently. “Let’s get you out of here and onto some carnival rides before you end up getting up there and throwing one of them off of the stage.” She teased, turning her back to the stage and beginning to walk away from it with Nik at her side. “You’ve mentioned it more than once, honey. So I applaud you for gettin’ out here with me and givin’ it a shot. I think you’re going to be happily surprised… besides, your brother is doin’ the dunk tank so we can absolutely give him a visit while we’re there.”

Nik tried to shake off his rigid posture as she linked her arm through his, a flash of blonde locks capturing his attention as she rested her head on his shoulder, but he failed miserably. It bothered him more than he anticipated, not being able to adjust back to how he was. This was the closest he had came to another person without something more painful following, and his muscles tensed immediately against his control. Inhaling sharply through his nose, Nik focused on Evie’s scent and gave a short nod. “Throwing them off the stage is child’s play,” he mused, casting a dirty look to the band playing before looking ahead. “But I see what you’re doing, little wolf. Constricting me to metal machinery to prevent me from getting into trouble?” He questioned with a small smirk before bowing his head. “Well played.”  Though the amusement that was slowly seeping through his features vanished at the mention of his brother. Forcing himself to at least maintain the smirk, he knew Evie would pick up on it anyway. All things aside, he used this as an opportunity to fish for information. “You spend a lot of time with him, I’ve noticed.” Nik mentioned idly, waiting until he had caught her eye before feigning a look of scrutiny. “Should I be jealous?”

How did one apologize to a brother for falsely accusing him of ruining the supernatural world and nearly chopping him up into pieces to scatter across the seven seas? If anyone knew, Daralis would do anything for an answer. In desperation, she nearly tried googling it one day just for the Hell of it. As heavy guilt struck her core, Dara could not bring herself to find the words she needed to say to him and so, they hardly spoke in the last months. Realizing the flaw in her behavior, as she found herself in front of him as he addressed her, cerulean hues flickered as she noticed the shift in Nik’s expression. Her shoulders dropped slightly as she cleared her throat attempting to find her confidence again, “I wanted to see my favorite baby brother, of course.” Her tone casual. Albeit, he was her only youngest brother but that was beside the point. She nodded over to where she had been sitting where the three women who had been staring attempted to look away. “That and the girls over there were talking about a tall brooding pretty boy. Imagine my surprise slash disappointment when I looked over and it was you.” Shrugging as she cast her gaze to the hypnotist show, “Are you enjoying this?” 

“I’m your only younger brother,” Nik countered, one eyebrow raising as he studied his sisters features. “And truthfully I think it’s laughable that you’re claiming I’m your favourite anything, Daralis.” After all, the two had deeprooted issues that were never resolved even before his capture,  and it wasn’t like his sister to swallow her pride so easily. Guilt he was sure had a hand in it, but the rest was left to question for the Original. Still, Nik averted his gaze to the direction Daralis gestured to, frown lines disappearing from his face as he observed the women. “I can’t fathom why you would be surprised. I could have been hand crafted by the God’s themselves with this face,” he pointed out, lips curving into a cocky smirk as he caught the pretty redhead’s attention. “The disappointment, however, isn’t a surprise to me.” This time as he spoke, Nik turned to face his sister, complexion once again hardening at the sight of her. There had been a time where Daralis and he had been a united front. He recalled expressing to her on many occasions that she was his favoured person to have by his side when in battle.  And he could painfully remember the childish hope he held whilst captured, the dreams he managed to muster in restless sleep of how his family would surely seek him out. Nik even boasted to his tormentors for the first few months, declaring the wrath that would be thrust upon them once he was reunited with his siblings. And it only served to make him more bitter about just how wrong he was. “I’ve had more fun being lashed with silver,” he replied darkly, knowing it was an over exaggeration but not bothering to correct himself regardless.  “I assume I should ask you the same? Maybe we’ll talk about the weather next, hm?”

“Ridiculously awesome, maybe.” Delilah was quick to correct, taking a moment to stop shoving food in her face to look up at the familiar original. Her shoulders shrugged at the critique though, not one to dwell on anyone’s perception and instead finished off the cup of beer she’d gotten. “You should lighten up and try it, it’s a good time.”

“Perhaps if you tell yourself that enough, it might come true.” Nik quipped rather childishly, pulling a hankerchief from his pocket to toss it in Delilah’s direction. “You’re a mess. Literally, there’s eggs all over your face.” At her response, he snorted and shook his head idly. “I’d rather not. However, if you’re able to promise a good time, I’m all ears to any suggestions. Please bear in mind that murder is not off the table, should you wish to pitch it.”

One hand raising the bottle of Glenmorangie Pride 1974 for her to see, the Original lounged on the nearest chair with a devilish smirk. “Only the finest for the cost of your company, of course.”

Pleased to have the days of peace leading from the excitement of the event, Nik took advantage of the quiet to explore the manor. After all, it had been quite some time since he had last resided there. And even then, he wasn’t entirely sure as to whether he ever bothered to get familiar with the place. However, there was one place he could easily find - the armoury - arguably his favourite room in the large home. Nik was currently admiring a ninjatō carefully placed on display, his finger tip running along the bare blade with a small smirk of satisfaction. Upon hearing approaching footsteps and catching the all too familiar scent of his brother, the Original expertly pulled the blade from it’s displayable position and turned sharply, pointing it in the direction of Nathaniel with a cocky grin, though the taunting twitch of his lips didn’t quite reach his eyes. As a young boy, he could recall sparring with his older brother. There had been many laughs, despite their less than kind upbringing, Nik could acknowledge that. But the crushing weight of inferiority he felt towards his brother still ran through him, not as violent or demanding as before. More of a low burn, simmering in his veins. Only, the recent revelations seemed to fuel the fire inside of him.  “Nathaniel,” he greeted, words dripping in sarcasm as he lowered the sword and left it to dangle by his side. “Strange of you to seek me out. Unless you assumed no one was down here?”

      Rose had met so many in her travels before coming to Hollow Grove, she was bound to cross paths inside the town line with someone she knew. She saw the back of a head, the tousled brown hair, wide shoulders, a gait she thought was so familiar, and she approached. She’d hoped to stand by the sidelines, remain a quiet, unnoticed observer at the event. But she had to see, her curiosity eating at her. When she heard a voice rise up before she reached him, she knew she’d made a mistake, and he was no more familiiar to her than the woman running the cotton candy booth. She stopped in her tracks, said nothing for a pause, and then with clear disappointment married with an honest tone, “Nothing at all. I thought you were someone else.”

“That seems to be occurring a lot, lately.” He mumbled, more to himself than in actual response. Studying her features, he searched for any trace of familiarity. Confident that he had never crossed paths with the girl before, Nik flashed her a dashing smile, mild interest replacing any previous etches of irritation from his complexion. “No bother,” he mused with a dismissive wave of his hand. “You needn’t look so disappointed though.”

Despite the obvious tension- one that Elena absolutely loathed- she made her way over to her older brother, a smile never once leaving her face. “Just wanted to say hi!” She said as she stopped in front of him, her smile remaining despite the obvious scowl on his face. Not that she could ever blame him for it; not after everything that had happened. Not after her and their siblings failed to help him. “And offer to go up that building over there-” She pointed at the same building she typically went up to avoid the crowds, yet still observe the feasts every other year. “-because you won’t be getting much peace here.”

Nik rolled his eyes at his sisters enthusiastic demeanour, knowing all too well what lied beneath the smile was far more interesting. Why she had felt the need to cover up the darkness inside of her, he could never quite guess. He actually preferred Elena when she was being herself, and he made no effort to be subtle about it. Following in the direction of where she was pointing, his gaze fell on to the building before shifting back to her, eyebrows raising in question. He was in two minds as to whether he should have abruptly snapped the olive branch his sister seemed to be extending, or entertain whatever it was she wanted to say. Opting for the latter, he reasoned that he could still have a little fun toying with her emotions. “It depends, I suppose. If you’re offering to accompany me there, I doubt I’ll find much peace.” Still, after allowing a few moments to pass for his cold reply to settle – if only to see her squirm -- Nik begrudgingly nodded his head and paced forward, only pausing to mutter lowly, “Well, are you coming?”

“Naturally,” he stated, face free from emotion as he turned to the bartender and gestured for them to hurry. With his patience wearing dangerously thin, especially when it came to the matters of the impostor, Nik’s expression hardened as he clicked his tongue in irritation. “I assure you, I’m the real deal. I'm aware it might be hard to believe that someone could be this handsome, but here I am -- living proof. Please, no pictures.”
