I'm glad you liked it :) It was the chapter that I had clearest in my mind when drafting the fic in the first place, though I did reach a point where writing it where i was like "...i hope everyone else thinks this is hot because i cant tell anymore." lmao

I will take this ask as a positive sign that it was...

thinking about combining two ideas into another fic again...

So, AU where Shang Qinghua runs off after Mobei-jun's ascension and becomes a proper rogue cultivator. At first he's just doing it to make a little money, but the he stumbles upon... one of Luo Binghe's future wives. And it occurs to him... There's no way that he's going to go around rescuing all of these maidens now that he's married to SQQ!

So he decides, fuck it, these are his characters too, and he didn't do most of them justice the first time around... They also deserve happy endings, lets solve their problems!

...Of course SQH does not believe himself to be that good of a person and tells himself that he's just using his meta knowledge to gain the treasures that LBH isn't going to claim. Ignore the fact that most of the 'treasures' are wives and that he rejects a lot of offers for marriage and sex on account of still being hung up on one ice prince. He's not *actually* so unselfish as to turn down money/artifacts/etc when they're the prize...

Said ice prince is still trying to hunt him down, so SQH does a lot of this undercover; hiding his face, using fake names, asking the people he helps not to tell anyone he was there, etc etc. Despite (or probably because of) these precautions, stories start spreading about this mysterious yet gallant cultivator... every noble sect wants to hunt him down and recruit meet him!
