My name is Dev’Ron Thomas Lee, I was shot in the neck, robbed and left for dead. Police officers responded to the gunshots and saw me unconscious.The officers put me in the police car and drove me to the University of Pennsylvania hospital.I was pronounced dead at the time.when I arrived. Doctors had to resuscitate me nine times until my heart was steady. My doctors advised me to get a pacemaker for my heart in case it decided to fail in the future. I’m grateful for my doctors and Jehovah God for giving me another chance to life from a different perspective and to be alive.I’m still currently paralyzed from the neck down,and utilize adaptive equipment to type or to text etc.

Biased Priorities

Myself and others have a problem with the police policy when black people are missing or shot. Its not a high priority but if a 👮 is shot or missing ambler alert. Its a high priority for the 👮‍♀️. Black people are only a priority when it comes to killing us, giving us half truths and stories, educating us poorly, incarcerating us, and making money off us. Making sure that we stay killing each other. Like Malcolm X said. “The white men will sell you the liquor bottles then lock you up for being drunk”.
