Please stop for a moment and read my story. Even $5 could help my children survive
My name is Donia. I am 34 years old and a mother of eight. I never imagined that one day I would have to write a message like this and ask strangers for help just to keep my children safe and fed. Before everything happened, our life was simple. We were not rich, but we had a home, safety, and hope for our children’s future. My husband worked hard every day to provide for us, and we were grateful for the small things in life. Then everything changed. My husband was injured and now has internal metal plates in the joint of his right leg. Because of his injury, he cannot work like before, and even moving is painful for him. Our situation became even harder when the war and famine began.During the worst time of the famine, I was pregnant. I still remember those days with pain in my heart. There were days when we did not even have one kilo of flour in the house. Imagine being a mother, carrying a child in your womb, while not knowing if you will be able to feed your family that day.We were displaced from our home and forced to leave everything behind. We lived through fear, hunger, and uncertainty. After some time we tried to return to our home, hoping life might become a little more stable again. But soon the area became dangerous, and we had no choice but to leave once more. Now we live in a small tent in Al-Daraj.In the middle of all this suffering, I gave birth to my baby boy, Saeed. The moment that should have been filled with joy was instead filled with worry and helplessness. When my baby was born, I did not even have clothes for him. I had to borrow tiny clothes from our neighbors so my newborn would have something to wear.As a mother, that feeling broke my heart.
Today we are still living in a tent, trying to survive day by day. Providing food for my children is a constant struggle. My baby Saeed is still very small and he needs milk and diapers, but even these simple things are difficult for us to afford.
Every day I look at my children and wish I could give them a normal life again — a safe home, warm beds, food on the table, and the simple childhood they deserve.I am writing this message with hope in my heart. I know there are kind people in the world who care about families like mine.I am not asking for a lot. Even the smallest help can make a real difference for us. A donation of even $5 could help us buy food, diapers for my baby, or milk to keep him healthy. If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing or reblogging my story so that more people can see it. Sometimes one share can reach someone who is able to help.Your kindness, your compassion, and even a small act of support could help my children survive these very difficult days.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for standing with my family.❤️🩹
