“He probably did the best he could, better or worse you’re both alive and that is what’s important. No?” she tried to be comforting. She always found these kind of conversations awkward. Her family was far from close, for the last half of her life she didn’t even talk to her parents. “I grew up an only child. Which could be pretty lonely at times.”
“That’s true,” Donnie wasn’t sure what they’d do if they found out their twin was dead - but if he was dead then Donnie probably, in all likelihood wouldn’t have ever known. “Well, yeah, I know that feeling. Not to mention boring as hell,” the blonde said, cracking a small smile. “Then I was out here and I found a new family, lots of brothers and sisters so to speak. You don’t live on this side of town do you?” She looked too put together, beautiful and she carried herself well with how she talked, so Donnie could only assume she was from the better part of town.
