// the grieving process is different for everyone and oftentimes not linear. time can be the biggest requirement for healing. patience and grace will allow the scars to heal and fade over time. allow yourself to feel, allow yourself time and space, allow yourself to be. while feelings of hopelessness can feel like a disruption, it’s part of the process. know that it is normal and natural for feelings to well up and die down. this is heavy-- this is hard. this is tough, but so are you. come face to face with it, get to know grief, allow it space even though it is unpleasant and uncomfortable. though your paradigm will be shifting, grief is there to help you grow, help you become more powerful and appreciative. if you can, learn to embrace grief. the universe/God/who and whatever you believe in will not give you something that you cannot handle. recovery may be slow, but you will learn from this and grow from this. there’s hope.
