The therapist to me, several years ago when I got quite depressed: ‘Do you worry about the death threats you have received online? From Bleacher Report?’ Me: ‘Fuck, I’m suicidal anyway. Death threats don’t work. Literally, they do not. At this point, someone offering to kill me is someone doing me fucking favor.’

I really should not have said this. It upset her.

And I don’t think I was really *was* suicidal. Deeply unhappy, but not suicidal.
