Character: Amaryllis 'Mary' Marblebridge, Halfling Merchant (plus 8 hidden moths!)

Mary is a fun-loving halfling known for love for comfort and quiet, noteworthy even among her halfling kin. Thanks to the specialized nature of her work, she has traveled extensively between the various towns of Lurien, always taking care to enjoy the same handful of carefully selected and cozy burrows.

Mary’s love of gears and inventions rivals that of any Gondish gnome. After spending half a decade as an apprentice to a like-minded mentor and a full decade running her own business, the uncharacteristically unadventurous woman decided to attend a symposium and exposition of tinkerers, architects, and inventors in far off Lantan, thus embarking on her singular vacation in her happy and content life outside of her homeland. Alongside two childhood friends, she chartered a human ship and began the journey of a lifetime!

Sadly, Mary and her friends found themselves shipwrecked and stranded on a mysterious and magical island that seemed to keep everyone trapped upon its shores. They sought out and eventually found civilization, but she was the only one that survived the endeavor.

She sought to ignore her grief and the trauma of constant death in a town of survivors. The best way to do so? Build herself a new burrow and jump into rediscovering old inventions, remembering the joy and frustration of inspiration for the things she knew how to make in far better conditions.

Her vacation has certainly taken an unexpected turn, but Mary strives to remain sane and happy despite her losses, difficult as that may be...

Homebrew subclass D&D 5e : College of Requiem - Bard I’ve been working on many homebrew subclasses for a while, and I wanted to do artwork for them. Bards always carried this joyful and colorful identity, but I wanted to express another side of art, and give to Bards a darker side, without making it evil per say. Also, I mean… really, given the name of the spell, I needed a way to make Danse Macabre accessible to bards :D For the art, I wanted Versaille meets widow, with the face of Glenn Close. Malignant Malice

Armor (heavy armor), very rare (requires attunement)

“This heavy armor seems to be made of some type of tough, living flesh that breathes on its own. Pustules of bright green liquid grow across it and bubble and pop whenever struck, spraying enemies with a bright yellow acid. The pustules are able to be regrown instantly.”

You gain a +2 bonus to AC and resistance to acid damage while attuned to this armor. Whenever a creature hits you with a melee attack they take 2d6 acid damage. Using a bonus action you can pull off a pustule of acid and toss it into an unoccupied square up to 10 feet away from you, creating an acid pool that lasts for 1 minute. Any creature that moves into or starts its turn in an acid pool takes 2d6 acid damage. You can use a bonus action to throw a pustule at a creature causing them to make a Dexterity saving throw DC 12 or take 2d6 acid damage.

The Warrior of the Street Monk is a Dungeons and Dragons 5e Subclass created by Cloaks & Capes TTRPG. It's compatible with both 2014 and 2024 DnD.

"I've lost fights before. In those? There were no winners. You're leavin' broken one way or another."

A Warrior of the Street Monk receives their training in back alleys and bars. Each lesson taught at the end of a fist. But Monks that come from the street are resilient. They don’t just learn to take hits as part of their training, but as part of their survival. A Warrior of the Street has to keep going, to do anything they can to survive, even if it means fighting dirty.

Talk Trash

Level 6 Warrior of the Street Feature

Getting inside your opponent’s head is the key to victory in any street fight. Once your opponent’s mental defenses have fallen, their physical ones are always quick to follow. You’ve learned the art of talking trash and getting under your opponent’s skin.

When you use your Flurry of Blows, you talk trash to the target, forcing them to make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, your Flurry of Blows attacks are made with Advantage.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining expended uses on a Long Rest.
