Our 26th subclass for Dungeons and Dragons is here, the Beastsoul Sorcerer!
A Beastsoul is created when a monstrous being with great power passes its gift down to their offspring. That monstrous essence then gets handed along from generation to generation, sometimes laying dormant within for decades or centuries. When an individual awakens that beast, they are able to tap into the magic of that first monster and sometimes manipulate it in new ways...including becoming the beast.

The Beastsoul Sorcerer subclass is designed for Dungeons & Dragons 5.5e. Here's a preview of the features you can find:
Unleash the Beast. Transform into a monstrous being capable of diving into the front lines and dealing damage up close and personal. You'll have increased melee capabilities and can use Sorcery Points to become even more deadly.
Unnerving Presence. Sometimes the monster inside of you shows itself in unexpected ways. This can easily lead to frightening results, but some people don't blink and are instead intrigued by the presence.
Becoming Inhuman. By invoking the power of the beast, you're stronger and faster than others who wield magic. You may not be a raging barbarian, but you're not as weak as the wizards either.
Daunting Attacks. As you become more accustomed to tapping into your Beastsoul you will learn to mix magic with melee, becoming a true force to be reckoned with on the field of battle.
Other features include Erratic Aggression, One With the Monster and two new spells inspired by the Beastsoul Sorcerer, Empowering Roar and Keen Instincts.
