honestly, it’s the way you just… set up camp in my head without even paying rent. i’ll be doing the most mundane thing, like picking out an apple or waiting for the light to turn green, and suddenly there you are. it’s a quiet kind of haunting. is it mutual? are we both just staring into space at 2 AM thinking about the same exact conversation? i like to think that when my heart does that weird little skip, it’s because you’re thinking of me too. it’s the beautiful, terrifying uncertainty of being completely consumed by someone. 🕊️✨
