Marinette takes Luka with her to Bunnyx's space because they need to figure out how to defeat the villain using double the power of time travel. While Marinette tries to figure out how and where to start, Alix shows Luka the time- tricks.

Or the story of how the random moment "oh, this cute random girl came into my room at my mom's request" evolved into "in a few months, this girl will ask me to rewind time to save the world from end"

Viva la Revolution! Paris trusts Ladybug. Prompt: "Why would they do this?"

Notes:

We are almost to the end of Fictober! I have one more double-prompt day coming up, then it'll be down to the last two mini-fics!

It was almost more than Ladybug could handle. She turned in a slow circle, taking in the fallen Parisians who had jumped into harm's way to defend her and her team.

"Why would they do this?" She was appalled. It was her job to protect them—

Viperion stepped up; the rest of the team looked as shocked as she felt. "Because they trust you to make it right."

"What if we—what if I— fail?"

Viperion took her hand, squeezing it once. "You've never failed at anything, Ladybug. You've made mistakes and learned and grown from them, but you have never failed us. Not once."

Chat, Rena, and Carapace all nodded in agreement. "He's right, Dudette. You always find the win."

She pulled her eyes away from the people who trusted her beyond the point of sanity to find only honest determination in Viperion's eyes. He believed every word he'd said. He believed in her.

Ladybug sucked in a deep breath before releasing it slowly. She glanced at the lucky charm in her hand and smiled grimly. She had an idea. "Okay. Let's earn that faith."
