Ok! So my cousin is trying to get her child to eat an apple and her kid doesn't want to. And I wasn't listening much but she told her about the "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" Thing. Waiting Forever

Chapter 1

Jack and Gabe ran through the dark forest as fast as they could. Ruby, their love, was struggling to breath in Jack's arms. Large cuts and bruises covered her body. Blood was covering all three of them.

The mob of the town chased them, shouting their anger and profanity. Torches and the loud clang of swords followed. Barks and loud snarls came from the hell hounds that followed the town's people.

"Turn up here! " Gabe whispered to Jack as they approached the North Cliff. Jack nodded and followed hugging Ruby tightly to his chest. They turned and ducked into the thick brush. Soon the anger filled shouts filled the air. They all stood near the cliff.

"Where did they go?! Did they fall? Everyone down to the beach! They couldn't have gotten far!! "

Gabe watched as they left and sighed heavily. Silently he wished he knew who told everyone their secret. He would make their last moments a living nightmare. Very few knew about their secret. But whoever told was in to have a good example of what hell is like.

Quiet sobbing caught his attention. Jack was crying as Ruby's breathing was becoming nonexistent. "We don't have time to call Angela.. " Jack sobbed as he struggled to keep her breathing. Gabe ripped off most of his trench coat and wrapped it around Ruby. "We can try!" Gabe insisted. Jack nodded and left to the cliff. He could cast a summoning spell to get Angela there faster.

"Gabe...."

Gabe looked down and smiled sadly at Ruby's half open eyes. She reached up to her diamond and pearl necklace and tore it off. Giving it to Gabe.

"My memories.... Take them.." She struggled to get out. The necklace was glowing a soft pale pink. Gabe took it and watched as her eyes became lifeless. His throat was paralyzed, his muscles were stiff. He wanted to throw up as he watched Ruby's Life leave.

"Where is she?!" Angela shouted as she pushed the bushes aside. Gabe couldn't speak as he looked up to her and Jack. After a moment, Jack couldn't help but start to cry all over again. Angela kneeled beside Ruby's body and checked for a pulse.

"She's gone..."

Gabe stood and held Jack as he broke down and cried. Ruby's necklace sat in his back pocket and it lost its glow. Now Jack and Gabe were alone...

But maybe.... Just maybe, they'll find her again... Maybe...

One Heck of a Night

Overwatch fanfic. Gabriel Reyes X Jack Morrison

Gabriel's POV

I sighed as I felt all my energy drain as I stepped through my room door. McCree had gotten into some trouble today so I had to bail him out from punishment from Ana. It was something about putting hot sauce in her coffee. Right now all I wanted to do was crawl into bed with Jack and fall asleep.

"Hey Gabe. Long day? " Jack asked as he sat up from the mattress. I nodded not even bothering to speak. With my energy gone, I didn't need to get angry again. But as I started taking my clothes off, I noticed that Jack's fangs were starting to show from his lips. Oh god, he's hungry.

Ever since that incident about a month ago, Jack has had fangs grow in and he can't eat normal food anymore. All he can have is blood. Mercy said that this was permanent so we were taking it in strides.

"Hungry Jack?"

"Yeah, but I'll wait til you're asleep then I'll go get some bagged blood from Mercy."

"No. You can have some of mine. Just let me relax first?"

Jack nodded and licked his lips slightly. A smirk covered my lips as I sat down and laid back against my pillows. He loomed over me with a nervous look and glanced away from me. This happened often when Jack needed to drink from me. All nervous and beside himself. Even when he was close to starving.

"Come here, Jackie. It's okay!" I reassured him. He took a deep breath and nodded before he kissed my neck. It was a nice start to this, usually he dug in quickly and there was some pain. It's nice that he's taking a different route.

Finally, I felt the fangs dig into my neck and I let out a groan. The fangs were slender but they were lethal for sure. Jack sucked at my neck a couple of times before he let go and licked his lips. Letting my blood stain my pillows and PJ's.

"Little messy aren't we?"

"I'll clean it out later."

"You better! These are my favorite PJ's!"
