I just read the tag about hxh 99 on your post and THANK YOU OH MY GOD!!! I'm so tired of seeing people praise 99's characterization. They made Gon dumber and more peppy than he actually is, and made Killua more of a typical aloof bad boy. For the end of 99, they originally were going to have Killua become an assassin again, try to get revenge after seeing his father die while attempting to kill Ging, and willingly kill Gon when he tries to protect him!! They did NOT understand their characters AT ALL and I will DIE ON THIS HILL

omg you get it exactly!!! i saw that ending and it made me feel insane like in what universe would killua go back to the zoldycks and kill gon??!?! just being edgy for the sake of it 😭😭😭

i dunno what they were on in 1999 they made gon so one dimensional like hes way too normal... and they took all of killua's whimsy 💔💔
