Heya, making this pinned post like a decade late. Anyways, online I am known as Lina or Gabe/Gaeb. This is currently my only blog, used to have a (currently inactive and very much forgotten) personal blog somewhere, don't try reach me there lol. Have an ao3 under the name DerpingLina and also a Discord account I use to lurk on servers (can DM for name). You might accidently find my private twitter if you dig, but in general it's private for a reason, I ain't sharing that here. These are the only platforms I am active on currently. TDC tags:

since I ship a lot of urskek halves I have seperate tags for the ships and the urskeks respectively, such as #gragoh (the ship) or #malva (the urskek)

character tags will have cotl before their names, such as #cotl leshy

characters that are basically public domain OCs bc little canon but much fan interpretations (aka the yellow cat) get the generic #cotl yellow cat tag as well as #cotl yc (name) tag for specific interpretations, so for example #cotl yc Joon

ship tags are simply the common shipnames I see in fandom without cotl before them, like #narilamb, #shamgoat, #leshycat

Jumping on the Rocky bagged a baddie bandwagon and designed Adrian. Yeah I am a sucker for the fandom HC that they are 1) bigger than rocky and 2) blue (daba di bada die). Also gave them the book×movie fusion treatment, so they have clothes AND tats.

Hc that Adrian is considered pretty cause their vents are varied in length, thus they have a larger vocal range than the average eridian, though I HC this isn't an uncommon mutation to have. Rocky still thinks they are a baddie through and through.

Back from hiatus to post some character studies of everyone's new favourite spacerock/crab/spider/nerd.

I kid you guys not, I watched the movie, then read the book, then listened to the audiobook, then RE-read the book (this time in Hungarian) while re-watching scenes on youtube. I didn't even know I liked sci-fi!

Anyways I love all renditions of my rock son. Both the nerd and the chad rendition is amaze amaze amaze. Speaking of, here is an additional joke I had in my head about his outfits:

So I saw this headcanon that Spamton used to be able to do the same word-art gimmick that Tenna could, and I realized that my Spam's vocal bugs probably would have prevented that.

I couldn't stop thinking about that one doodle I did so I decided to expand on it.

I was inspired by @laserbobcat making a swapped version their own yellow cat character Morgan, so I thought it would be fun to do the same to Hastur.

He’s a lot more cheerful, approachable, and much more expressive!

He’s also a bit of a religious fanatic and enforces the will of the Lamb by any means necessary, but this version of him isn’t doing it out of fear anymore at least!

This version of Hastur doesn’t take dissension and disobedience lightly, and he can and will make you an example if he deems it necessary.

That however does not stop Leshy from trying to get the nice guy to go apeshit on a daily basis, so their dynamic is pretty similar to their original.

So I haven't been able to get back to this for a bit since starting my new job + on top of all the other bullshit I've had to deal with in my life, but I still finished the second-third page to this comic so I wanted to go ahead and share it with y'all <3

I'll eventually be able to post the entire thing at some point, but I was still pretty happy with it so far so I wanted to share.

That being said, I may delete this post after I'm finished with the whole thing - haven't decided yet.

Trying to get back into drawing CotL stuff, so here's a little doodle.

Had this idea in mind for a while, that Leshy is sensitive to the cold to the point of losing his leftover powers and having his appearance change. Kind of like a hibernation thing, or a cold + exhaustion result. But I thought about him straight up turning into a basket ball sized rolled up worm and Morgan losing his mind trying to understand what happened, and being told by Narinder that he has to keep him warm until he comes back to normal. But I was like "lol twink Leshy" and this happened. Maybe i'll make both canon somehow. Leshy was NOT expecting this to happen, now that he's mortal and diminished, since it only happened in his childhood. Everyone is either making fun of him, telling him he's cute or both. He still have enough strength to bite through steel though... And he gained some cute/pretty privilege that he abuses extensively.
