I needed to recreate this photo, because it truly is the solution to all of life’s problems ☺️
I love this genre of image
Just. Funny images of the rock afire explosion animatronics. They're so silly
if anyone has images of fatz, dook, loonie and beach bear like this please show them to me
Not the exact type of photo, but goofy photos with the same energy.
Most of these masterpieces are taken by @graffitidraws 😭
Spent almost 6 days on this because I'm petty.Tried to keep the style accurate to the limited art that was in newspaper clippings and adverts.Everything was referenced from Official art as well as photos Please feel free to print out and use this as a coloring sheet
even colored it myself for fun lol
This is amazing, thank you for doing this! If I see the other pages, I’ll join you in redrawing them, so fans can have legit art to color. Show them what real art looks like.
There are literally so many artists who would lovingly make artwork for anything Rock-afire, me included.
TLDR: professional designer rants about the use of soulless AI art, and how what makes most old things special, is because people created it.
Rolfe should have a light up sign that says “Kick me!” above his head, that blinks whenever Earl decides it should.
Can I say something. I literally do not give a shit if people call mechs “endoskeletons”
None of these names are technical and it just does not matter, that is a name it could be called, it still makes sense. There is literally no reason to be so uppity about it.
If someone gets mad about this, it’s usually a child. I rarely hear adult fans care 😭
Kids are the ones who nitpick every movement of a character, call themselves experts when they’re literally 9, and get personally offended if anyone else likes animatronics lmao.
Source: personal experience
People have shown interest in wanting to see my Rae children, so here’s one of them 😆
Meet Rolfe! He’ll say he has a lot of money, but will forget the detail that I am the one who gives him said money… to go to the mall, to go to bars, K-mart idk. He says he has to go out to start his career because he quote, “lives in LA now” or somethin along those lines.
The struggle of wanting to share my animatronic photoshoots, but it’d be so weird to the majority of people 😭
My friend and I always be brainstorming business ideas, and we’ve been talking about buying a self service car wash.
You know what that means… this bitch gets his sign twirling job back!!
I know a lot of real animatronic fans do NOT like FNAF, but as a FNAF and real animatronic fan, I think you just need to know how to separate the two. I love FNAF because it was a huge part in my childhood and I love the stories. I love IRL animatronics like the Rock afire and CEC because its a beautiful art form. It's okay to like both of them
I’m the same, I like them for different reasons. I don’t take fnaf seriously at all, it’s just all for fun.
It’s also completely okay to have gotten into irl animatronics from liking fnaf first.
(One of my favorite YouTube comments is a kid who got into the Rae from a literal fnaf inspired analog horror video, not even Fnaf itself lmao)
Who cares if someone grew up with the RAE vs got into it through an adjacent interest. One does not make you any less of a fan.
Bites his head off bc im hungry
Bonus: Beach Bear version
love when fnaf fans are like "woaa animatronic endoskeletons are so freaky look at all of these weird ones" and it's just like. 5 random cei bots
When kids trick-or-treated at my place last Halloween and were both terrified and thrilled to see animatronic “endoskeletons” just greeting them at the door 🤣
It was fun tho, they kept coming back to show their friends and were very excited that someone in their neighborhood had animatronics.
For the lack of Rock-afire shows on the west coast, I somehow manage to find multiple friends within hangout distance of me who are into this 😭 like we’ll meet online, and then discover that we’re really close to each other.
I’m about to start a club lmao
Classy and Sassy ✨💅🏼💃🏼
It’s crazy how animatronics basically include everything. Drawing for the concept art, set design for the stage, voice acting and singing for the characters, sewing to make the costumes, programming to make them move, engineering to make the mech, etc
IT IS AN ARTFORM!
^^^thissss
This is why I fell in love with it.
As someone who didn’t want to just do either engineering or art, animatronics was the perfect blend of both. There are so many new skills to acquire from it.
Engineering:
- Mechanical design and assembly
- Measuring
- Machining
- Materials science
- Physics
- Electronics
- Pneumatics
- Programming
Visual Arts:
- Character design illustration
- Cosmetics and costuming
- Sculpting
- Painting
- Mold making
- Set and prop design
Performance Arts:
- Music production
- Singing
- Playing instruments
- Acting
There’s something for everyone to do!
Bro what is this 😭
What's an animatronic that you'd like to own but know you never will because it's virtually impossible to get ahold of one?
Hmm, I don’t have any ‘animatronic wants’ that are unattainable at the moment. I pretty much have the characters that I love, to the point of wanting to own them already. All are Rock-afire characters.
I’m grateful to be in that position, and I know owning any professional animatronic is a rarity, regardless of what it is. But I believe in working for what you have, so I can at least say, that I have purchased every character of mine with my own money. And I am someone who treats them like my family, so they’re in good hands.
There are some characters that would be cool to own for the novelty, but I don’t care if I had them or not. I really only want to own characters that I form a deep connection with, and I haven’t had that experience with anything that’s out of my reach.
My Actual Answer lmao
Owning anything from Disney would be a neat statement piece. I’d probably want a character from Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, or Country Bear Jamboree. And if somehow, the stars aligned, and I had the opportunity to own any of them, I’d take it.
But yeah, I’ll pass the question to anyone else who wants to answer as well.
What’s an animatronic you’d like to own that is just so out of the realm of possibility?
2019 BBWL’s Dook was me in high school.
Also, Beach Bear looks like he has a gun
