This is basically a divergence AU that is rewritten from Fragments onward. Although I love SUF, I wasn't in love with how it handled Steven's corruption. I have a bunch of art and writing, but I havent posted much yet so heres a good start ig. Stay tuned~

Some doodles of my MOT AU!

More rambles abt the lore:

- when Stev takes control of WD, he has flashbacks to her ripping his gem out. This time he is in control, and takes his anger out on her. Ripping HER gem out this time. This causes her to poof and crack her gem as it hits the floor.

- post-corruption he is very quiet and reserved. Feeling like he has to mask himself for his loved ones. He’s terrified of hurting people or appearing threatening after everything he’s done. Underneath it all, he is angry. Learning from his time with Jasper, he needs to let it out. Every once in a while he sneaks off to let loose without the risk of hurting anyone (goes to island from island adventure). Steven swells up into a form lowk similar to “Chad” Steven from the show but more monstrous. These are more blatant corruption scars appearing because he feels guilty and well, monstrous. He doesn’t have to dull his scars. He takes all his energy and frustration out on the island, and afterwards tries to heal as much as he can. This basically wipes him out which helps him mask with his family, as he doesn’t have the energy to feel anything. And when he does, he repeats it all over again. Until someone finds him…

I hope to write/draw this out more and if u like go read my fic so far muahahahaaah

someone sent me an anon ask about rocky meeting eva and i tried to post it not once but twice and tumblr ate it both times so now im just regular posting it here

i think ryland would grow to understand stratt’s choice with time, and even thank her logic of it because it led to his meeting of rocky, but i dont think he’d ever really forgive her for what she did to him

(Ryland had to prep rocky before they touched down to meet Stratt so he wouldnt charge her at first sight)
