FRACTURED MIND FAQ
What is Fractured Mind?: My main au, the most developed!! In this AU, we follow Steven after the Change Your Mind Episode where White keeps him captive, and sends the CG's away after a brutal battle. The Diamond Authority is essentially more than a all conquering race, but a giant religious space cult. Steven finds himself stuck on Homeworld for 4 years where he braves multiple experiments at White Diamond's hand before he accidentally 'shatters' her in a daring confrontation. A handful of her shards fuse with his body in an attempt at salvation, and he becomes the eternal prison of someone who isn't entirely dead, but isn't entirely alive. He takes White's place in the empire, while having to grapple the newfound voices in his head, and the abilities he can't control. It's Steven Universe and he looks like Gerard Way. Despite it's rewrite, near everything here is still canon and relevant unless said otherwise.
Can the shards be removed?: No, it'll kill him otherwise. The shards are fused to the bone
Will there be a comic?: As of now, no. I like making short form oneshots :3
IMPORTANT NOTE: White Diamond here is MUCH different from canon. She is irredeemable, and disgustingly fascinated with organic life and dissecting its nature. (I LOVE CANON WHITE I SWEAR) She takes a lot of her anger out on Steven, even in her final moments.

Steven falls into the backrooms VIA a Warp-Pad. Warping there alone, he finds himself fighting off a large, monstrous version of himself. This AU probably won't be very far developed it's mostly just here for kicks.
