No seriously, I thought the last scene was beautiful I was on the verge of tears and most importantly no Shuichi ending (YAAAY)
However, I was hoping for a single scene to reaffirm Kumiko and Reina’s “bond”, their relationship took a serious hit this season; Reina with her stupid crush and Kumiko for not opening up to Reina about what she was going through. That’s what I’m frankly so disappointed at. I knew if there was ever a 3rd season it would be in a different school but if they ever continued with the same cast I don’t think I’d care about Kumiko and Reina’s relationship anymore, I can’t even enjoy rewatching their scenes in s1 the last few episodes with them left a bad taste in my mouth. Asuka’s arc really saved the season for me.

Thanks to freakin YOI I now have an obsession with figure skating! I probably watched every video on youtube by now and everyone is like 'what the hell is that all about?' I stumbled upon Tessa and Scott and they're MAGICAL. I hope the staff behind the show will do another one based on them 😭
I remember half-hoping that she was gonna say Kumiko and dreading that her answer would be Taki-Sensi but her answer was even BETTER I was awestruck. Sadly, it's all downhill from there; you see I realized what bugged me most this season wasn’t Kumirei never becoming canon, It’s Reina’s character assassination. From a confident cool character with a silly crush to a selfish pathetic whiny kid! and while it’s true that the last episode hit high notes for all the characters, Reina’s arc was the lowest point. Yes her crush must be addressed but not by destroying her character!(The whole thing was redeemed by Taki’s golden reaction) I can only hope for a miracle this finale to bring back the Reina we know and love.
Episode 12: Taki Noboru
The finale was almost perfect I wonder why would they need an extra episode? is it to put the last nail in kumirei's coffin 😅 really not looking forward to Kumiko's first date with Shuuichi 🙄
Bittersweet episode, I liked it. But it’s now more clear than ever that kumirei is history :( Just realized Asuka is best girl. The animation quality dropped this week, they probably ran out of money the next ep will be in black and white or NGE ending if we’re lucky
