Quick Infant Headband Tutorial by Dope Crochet
As we were getting ready for church this morning, I could not find the right headband to go with the dress I wanted her to wear today. Since we had about ten minutes before we needed to leave, I just decided to make one!
I used an organic cotton ribbon yarn because I prefer to use a wider yarn when creating headbands for her. She has really thick hair and thinner yarns have a tendency to get swallowed up.
It was incredibly easy to make. Using a G hook, I chained 160, then finished off each end of the chain.
I began wrapping the headband around her head by placing the center of the chain at the base of her head. I brought both ends towards the front of her head, crisscrossed the two ends of the chain in the front of her head. This should create a wide "X" shape in the front of her head.
Then to finish it off, I tied the ends in a bow at the back of her neck.
