jieun breathed a sigh of relief as she nodded, her own expression copying his as she held out a hand and linked her arm through his as they made their way out of the room. “what do you think clubbing in vegas is like?” she asked nonchalantly, not really expecting a full answer, but simply something to fill the silence.

although she couldn’t understand most of the words written on the boards above, she did know the name of the club that they would be going to, and so she led them in the direction of the appropriate arrows. with his english skills, she was certain that they wouldn’t get completely lost.

"don’t forget our promise for tonight, hm? no looking back with regrets," she exclaimed excitedly. honestly, she wasn’t a risk-taker like that usually, but this was a completely different situation. as they rounded the corner, the club was up ahead. the long lines made it obvious that this was a popular one, and she got into line, practically skipping in place at her excitement. "i hope this line moves quickly…."

he extended out his arm for her to loop hers along before they headed out of the room. he barely caught her question as they made their way out of the hotel, giving her question an moment to ponder. with a small shrug, he reached up at ran his hand through his hair.

"cant be too different from clubbin' back in seoul."

although he knew she didn't know the language, he decided that it'd be best for her to lead, this way giving her some practice with english. of course if she needed he would help her out, but so far she was doing well. a small smile tugged at his lips, feeling proud of his friend.

at her words, he couldn't help but grin. she wasn't the risk-taker but him on the other had, he lived for taking risks, it made life more interesting.

"i haven't forgotten, i should remind you instead."

his tone light but teasing as they reached the club. he followed her to the line, slipping his hands into the pockets of his jacket. he watched her in amusement, shaking his head as a low chuckle passed his lips.

"relax will ya? we aren't that far back."

what happens in vegas ♥ myg + sje

the last few days of their vacation had gone quite well. despite the language barriers and the fear of getting lost, jieun had to admit that she was having a great time. it bummed her out that everything was coming to an end, and so the two friends had decided that tonight, they would go all out. live life to the fullest and look back with no regrets. who knew when they would get another chance to come out here again after all.

while she had been planning the trip, jieun had read about vegas’ nightclubs and so she made sure that they would definitely go take a peek at what the hype was all about. were they greater than the ones in seoul? she had no idea, but it would take a visit to make a decision, right?

so that night, jieun slipped on a black, form-fitting dress and let her hair fall freely past her shoulders. “do i look okay?” she asked yoongi, and then immediately regretting it because, frankly, what did he know? “actually, no need to answer. i’ll deal even if i don’t,” she chuckled before turning to look at him. “are you ready to head out?”

they had this planned this trip for awhile, yoongi didn't think that they'd actually make it to vegas, but the last few days had been a blast. aside from jieun being afraid they'd get lost, things ran rather smoothly. sadly their vacation was now coming to an end, after some convincing yoongi agreed to hit up some of the clubs.

deciding that it'd be best if he went with the flow of things and let jieun do most of the planning (because if it were up to him, they'd stay in the hotel all day and just laze around). might as well enjoy the vegas nightlife with his friend.

sitting in one of the chairs by the window, yoongi slipped on his shoes, glancing up when he heard jieun's voice. his eyes widen slightly, lips tugging up into a smile as he stood up and grabbed his jacket from the back of the chair and slipped it on.

"you look great. i'm ready, let's get goin'."
