My interpretation of Valko's design to avoid the double ears :v Disclaimer: Yes, Cat Caretaker was also weird in having double ears, however, that was due to a mishap and was a temporary status effect so I can give that a pass, whereas the wolf ears appear to be imperative to Valko's identity. Also, this was just for funsies and what I would do differently! Misc. notes below 👇

The easy fix would be to just lengthen the hair to "hide" where human ears would go but given that he has a short hair style it does indeed make it more challenging, so I both lengthened the sideburns and hair along the jaw, akin to how they do so for Laguz in Fire Emblem. I think the angle of the ears also matter to suit the hairstyle so I angled them back to go with the direction of how Valko's hair flows, inspired by how Miqo'te ears are angled back in FFXIV. Finally, I also took inspiration from Tamaki (Fire Force) in that her nekomata flame "ears" are more spectral in shape, allowing the appearance of cat ears while maintaining human ears if so desired. When Rafayel channels his power as the Sea God, his fin-like ears take on a similar approach in that they're more spectral than definitively transformative

I wanna do a crossover between LADS × Wolf's Rain using TC22 designs

Basically, going off of aesthetics (not necessarily personality though there are some small similarities ☝️)

Zayne-> Kiba; Caleb-> Hige; Sylus-> Tsume; Rafayel-> Toboe; MC-> Blue

However, I'm not sure where to fit Xavier, like I could make him Cheza for funsies cuz of flower motif but I might just make him his own wolf chara ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Side note, Wolf's Rain crowsnow would be excellent to ponder as well👌
