Have you had a chance to see Saltburn at the theater? I thought of you immediately upon watching it; a very aesthetically beautiful film just dripping with debauchery
I say, I haven’t! It sounds delightful, you must invite me along the next time time you plan on watching this show, hopefully it is still being performed the next time I am in the area!
Thank you very much for the recommendation, darling, I shall send some letters and attempt to arrange a box so I might indulge my curiosity and provide an adequate review for you 🥰 xx
My goodness
…
How perfectly grotesque 🥰 yes, you were quite right my dear, this film was magnificent. I don’t even possess the adequate vocabulary to describe how much I adored this little experience. Everything you said about it was most correct, I have to agree; my good friend, Oscar, I believe would’ve been especially intrigued.
Although I must say I do wish it wasn’t quite so symbolic, symbolism ruins the best of things, you know? I stand by the idea that my friend would’ve enjoyed this - poet he may be - however another close friend of mine disapproves of thinking entirely when it comes to enjoyment of art, says it leads one to look extremely unbecoming in the wrong lighting. References to Shakespeare in particular cast a vast and tiresome shadow over my heart, but I digress.
And that Oliver - what a delectable awful little man! Truly fascinating…
Although I don’t think he’d enjoy the message it portrays for the simple reason that a message is present, I must send Harry a note in the morning - I’m curious what exactly he has to say about it. I did laugh to see the similarities between him and the Lady of the house, of course.
Please do share any more recommendations, I’m curious how else my image is regarded amongst the general public
Ever yours,
Dorian xx
How many of you hoes are left?

49. What does your last text say?
Thinking of her 🥺💕
For the ask game - number 22: How much sleep did you get last night?
I slept wonderfully as ever, my sweet. The ghosts and the horrors were there singing me a lullaby so rich with.. well.. my own riches that I slept as soundly as a baby throughout the entire night - and i must confess through a decent chunk of the morning as well <3
Indeed, the old proverb must be false, there seems to be plenty of rest for the ‘wicked’… As it were..
(Visible exhaustion)
Good day for now, my dear, make sure you are getting plenty of beauty rest as well 😘 xx
I finished reading your story over fall break and am afraid I grew absolutely obsessed with you immediately. please send help you've been on my mind for days.
Oh my darling of course I’ve been in your mind for days, that’s my house, I live there <3 and besides I do believe one should dedicate a certain period of time weekly to contemplation of the exquisite and the beautiful, don’t you agree?
I’m glad you enjoyed my little story, Oscar always appreciated a shining review so I’m flattered on his behalf 😘
I hope you’ll be in attendance of my next soirée so we can discuss matters further, do feel free to stop by anytime xx
Good morn, all!
As I'm sure you're aware the 7th of this month (November) marks the date of my birth, and while I will strictly NOT be disclosing the number of candles on the cake this year, I invite you all to my home in Grosvenor Square for a 'small' celebratory gathering/soirée.
As is per usual, I welcome every manner of debauchery and indulgence, all are welcome, please feel no need to rsvp - entertainment will be plentiful for however many decide to take part.
I look forward to the pleasure of indulging in your company,
D. Gray xx
18. Who is the last person you texted?
That would be Harry, rather dull I'm afraid, he's been writing me all day about how JS Mill's rule utilitarianism is clearly the superior ethical theory (to clarify, the argument thus far has also made mention of Bentham's act utilitarianism, as well as situation and Kantian ethics). While I share his interest in the topic, I'm afraid I lack a fair amount of the understanding he's cultivated, particularly in this specific opinion, which I do not agree with. Perhaps it's my lack of practice, I AM trying to catch up. Anyway, apologies for the anecdote
I responded "ok :3 💖"
He has not yet, I fear he for all his studying he hasn't yet learned how to conceded defeat 😂
The philosophy of indulgence, my dear
If I’m being rather honest I’m not too sure myself.
I’m sure Henry delights in confusing us so, perhaps if I show him this message he will understand that his words are utter nonsense

2 - Although I did enjoy coffee in the past, as something exotic and sophisticated, I'm afraid to say I ultimately got bored of the bitterness. Much to the chagrin of my more cultured side, my sweet tooth has greatly outgrown my taste for savoury drinks.
I have to say I prefer tea, I find it a lot softer than coffee in both taste and complexity - I'm constantly spoilt for choice when it comes to teas. And as for how I take it, the same still applies and rather depends on what type I'm drinking. Though assuming the standard I usually have 2 or 3 sugars and a hefty amount of milk (sweet tooth)
10 - I'm not entirely certain, tough I believe I'm somewhere around the 5'8 to 5'10 range. I appreciate that may be a disappointment to some however I ASSURE you that that was above average in my time, and no I'm not insecure at all, why should I be? :')
26 - Oh, the list is endless. I believe we should all be in touch with our inner child often in order to stay youthful. Perhaps my most beloved childish trait is my love of shopping! It's not that I enjoy spending money, I just adore receiving gifts, and who know what I am in need of from moment to moment better than myself? ;)
I enjoy books with pictures (Harry mustn't hear, he must always feel superior in everything and it's so incredibly dull)
I enjoy stuffed animals - particularly rabbits
I love jewels (from time to time this can get rather too much and I often find I could fancy myself a Prince! So fantasising could be its own point, if you like)
And I also enjoy causing a scene as often as I possibly can
Also number 27: What’s your favorite book? Or just one you’ve read a few times?
'À Rebours' !!
Its by Joris-Karl Huysmans and features a beautiful young orphan aesthete - a dreamer much like myself, in search of peace and tranquility away from the vulgarity of humanity.
It's a perfect work of art with absolutely no plot, it's entirely useless but I adore it so <33
It really is a splendid work and I see rather a lot of myself in it. Though it came to me in a dark time, I enjoyed it so much I had it bound in 7 different covers so I could find comfort in it no matter my mood :))
If I may express myself in the language of today's young and beautiful, I suppose I am something of a Jean des Esseintes "kinnie".
Though I'm not certain of the exact origin of this word (perhaps a modernised 'kin' or 'kinfolk') I certainly would love to lead his life.
I highly recommend this novel for anyone who would like to read it <3
38!
Do I have any phobias?.. Well I momentarily had a small phobia of growing old though for reasons I need not say I haven't had too much trouble handling that one as of late
Poverty, certainly.
Alan. I can't quite explain it but he does scare me a LOT. Between his temper and Basil's-- things can certainly get messy, as you may be able to imagine, though as you've chosen to remain anonymous I can't quite determine if you're acquainted or not...
Hm, I think that's all! ✨
I don't like flying insects. Moths. They scare me. 😬 :(
4. Do you sleep on your back, stomach or side?
On my back, I hear its 'the best' way, if there is such a thing, I ought to ask Henry, I'm sure he's far more knowledgeable in this area than I. :))
Thank you very much anon
