FLOYD LEECH X READER // HEADCANONS
“...Hm?“
You didn’t know WHERE or WHEN you’ve fallen for Floyd Leech, but it definitely came out of nowhere. His playful demeanor, whenever he’ll shout ‘SHRIMPYYYYY~!’ and throw in a cute, toothy smile with that blush on his cheeks, how he’ll take your hands and play with them against his own, large ones...how his eyes will be slightly glowing, and he’ll ask if you’re ‘afwaid’ of him...with how he’ll offer you small gifts, out of a small, passing fancy...it was strange, how you can feel your heart, beating in your chest at the thought of becoming closer to the moray eel merman...
...But it can never happen, is what you’re painfully thinking, as you watch him from afar. He...he can find someone FAR more better. And the fact remains that, Floyd’s personality and mood will always change, and the fear of how he’ll find you uninteresting, even if you do love him...it can’t be helped, because that’s what you also love about him, faults and all. And so, you keep your feelings to yourself, tucking it away in the depths of your heart.
You often see it. Azul will send a pitiful smile your way, and offers to listen to whatever woes you have...for a small price, that is. Jade himself would off-handedly mention a few tips about his brother to you, but he will not interfere. This is something that YOU need to do for yourself, and it IS very boring to merely GIVE you the answers...he will keep an eye out, however. The day when he will intervene is when his brother will consider you romantically, rather than platonically.
Floyd, meanwhile, would notice how stand-offish you’re being, and he’ll complain about it to Jade and Azul...though, he might have an inkling. From when he would hug you, he can feel your heart, beating fast than usual, and he can hear how your breath stutters whenever he’s near...he’ll tilt his head and wonder...do you like him THAT way, Shrimpy? Or do you not...? He’ll be a bit more moody than usual, mainly because Shrimpy is acting weirder than usual...what’s going on, hm?
“Shrimpy...I’m getting annoyed. Hey. Answer me. Why’re you suddenly going away?“
JADE LEECH X READER // HEADCANONS
“...Oya oya.“
Jade Leech...just his name makes you feel giddy in the inside. With his sharp eyes, his plush lips, his smooth actions as he travels from one area to another, the toned arms...how his expressions would change so beautifully, whenever his eyes land on what he likes...every moment makes your heart soar with love. What doesn’t help is that he'll sometimes make you flustered on purpose, and that makes you fall even harder, considering how his interest is always on you...well, whether it be from your expressions or not, he has an interest in you...at least, you HOPE it’s an interest.
...But it can never happen, you’re aware of this fact. He...he should be with someone else, and even then...Jade appreciates the unpredictable, not the predictable. You don’t think you’ll be able to even give him what he wants, and even then...you truly don’t believe that he likes you that way, either. And so, you stand on the sidelines...waiting and hoping that he’ll find someone quick, so the pain can go away...
Floyd will complain about it immensely, saying that Jade DOES wuv you, and that you shouldn’t just hide your feelings away. He finds it annoying, and if it weren’t for the fact that Azul’s stopping him, he would've just chucked you at his brother. Azul...he won’t interfere, but he will say that it’s better to be upfront about your feelings...but he won’t stop you, if that is what you wish. Even Azul himself doesn’t even know if Jade likes you...because who Jade fancies is who he fancies.
Jade, meanwhile, will take a moment to consider how...different you’ve become. He wonders why you’ve become so distant from him, though how you’re handling your life is entirely based on you, it is not his business to intervene...and yet, why does he feel as if there’s an empty space, right next to him...?
“...[Reader]-san. By any chance...are you hiding something from me?“
LEONA KINGSCHOLAR X READER // HEADCANONS
“...Hah?“
You don’t know how, but it would appear that Leona Kingscholar has stolen your heart. With his long, locks of hair, his shining green eyes, his smooth skin, his swinging tail and sharp canines, his fuzzy ears...underneath that lazy demeanor is someone who is far more complex than you'd think...there’s a lot of things that you love about him, and it makes your heart feel so full...
...But it's impossible. It really is. He's the second prince, and there's no doubt that he most likely, already has a suitor...and besides, what would he see in you? As the thoughts plague your mind, the thought of him, being happy in the end...that’s what makes you happy, if anything. And so, you're quick to avoid him, desperately hoping that the one who will eventually marry him, will love him for who he is...faults and all.
Jack acts as your wingman, offering to listen to your troubles...n-not that he thinks that you’re a good friend, or anything! Though, he’ll keep quiet for your sake, mainly because of how you’re suffering over here, and he promised that he won’t say anything...but, it’s frustrating. It goes against his belief of how wolf beastmen should act towards their own soulmate, and he can smell how much you love Leona, and he thinks--no, he KNOWS that--Ruggie will stop him, saying that it’s better to not get involved, and that there are things better left unsaid...it’s your decision, after all. The only thing the two can do is just help you out.
Leona won’t think too much about your absence, as you’re your own person...but, as time passes on, he’ll get annoyed once he realizes that you’re obviously avoiding him. What, you don’t want to hang out anymore...? That’s fine. Do whatever the hell you want. Leona will simply turn over, taking his nap...and stowing away his bitter, bitter thoughts. He won’t and can’t be bothered to deal with it....though, there’s a small space, right where you’ll be sitting and reading something, that remains empty...he’ll bury away that strange feeling, and continue on with his nap.

ROOK HUNT X READER // HEADCANONS
“...Hmmm...I wonder where your heart lies, Mademoiselle...?“
Rook Hunt...oh, where to even begin with this man. You can feel the arrow that he metaphorically shot through your heart! From his smooth words, his sharp eyes, his firm stature, his bright personality with how he perceives everyone as beautiful...the more you look at him, the more you can feel yourself falling for him, and his large heart, even more...
...But it can never happen, and the thought tears you to shreds. You know of how he perceives everyone with such beauty, such splendor, that you don’t think you’ll be able to compliment him back. His heart is so big as he considers the beauty of others, and you truly do care for him...the best that you can do, is watch from the sidelines, hoping that he’ll find someone that can suit him. Someone that can fit his own ‘beauty’.
Epel is fuming, but he stays quiet and offers some apple treats and offers to listen...though, he’ll think that you should mention this ‘love’ to Rook. He’s bound to know eventually, and hiding it will just make you suffer more...but Vil will intervene, saying that what happens between Rook and you should only STAY between the two of you. Though Vil wonders what is taking Rook so long, to even confront you about this situation...
...He knows, you know. He knows that you yearn to stand by his side, but even he knows that there are boundaries and lessons that YOU must overcome, and what saddens him is that he can’t offer you any advice, for he is the reason why you must face such challenges. You truly are beautiful, to want him to be with someone you believe is better, and to sacrifice your own beautiful love for his sake...however, this won’t simply do. As he fixes the brim of his hat, Rook will be on the hunt...to find you, that is.
