Rather than think heaven made a mistake jerry thinks him being sent to hell was warranted and a moral failing on his part. This is because jerry was raised deeply religious. So he feels extremely guilty for this and still prays despite literally being in hell. He genuinely wants to earn his way to heaven to prove he can be a good person and to prove to god he can be good. He thinks he failed god and his mother.

Consider this for the works for vox au. Similar to angel with val jerry is pretty attached, dependent and loyal to vox. Which made him going against his orders such a big deal and because he's like such a good worker otherwise instead of killing him he gives him the shock collar and puts him on punishment. He was the first person to show him kindness and jerry considers him his first friend.
Also if you still play baxter imagine him and jerry being co workers. I just know baxter pities him.

Jerry’s reaction when his twink angel bf starts talking in his Gen z speak.
Despite jerry being the one who towered over him it was the dork who felt truly intimidated by the other man. Not afraid he would hurt him physically or emotionally but he was just so forward. He was confident. Treading lightly with the southern man but still he seemed so suave and so sure of himself. Basically the opposite of how jerry felt all the time. "S-sorry." He stammered. His nervousness still clear in his tone. His blush not lightening up any time soon either.
"I kinda do this a lot. Knock into people..." Usually because he was running from his many attackers but so far no one had given him a rough time in canada. Maybe being a dork wasn't a big deal here or maybe where he lived people were just jackasses for no reason.
"I get myself hurt and into trouble a lot. I promise I don't mean to it's just how I am I guess?" He tried to explain his hand rubbing the back of his neck in unease. "Um thank you. For calling me cute I mean. That's awfully nice of you. Most people wouldn't agree." He said with a nervous chuckle. "Um no. I've been going on a roadtrip. Trying to find myself you know? Originally I'm from america. Georgia to be more specific. Oh and my name's jerry." He then offered up his hand to the man with a gentle smile. Said hand being much bigger than wallace's. "What's your name if you don't mind me asking?"
「 ☆ 」 So, the guy is a clutz... Hardly the first Wallace has been exposed to and if anyone was going to be bumbling around, it may as well be someone cute. Especially if that cutie stumbles on his words just as much when speaking to him. Wallace is hardly the humble sort. Why would he be when it's been repeatedly proven that other guys find him desirable? Whether they want to or not. But it's still a nice boost whenever it happens. More-so when he's actually interested in the possibility.

"That is awfully kind of you. Thank you. Guess it's true what they say about canadians." That being that they were very nice. It was kinda part of the reason jerry chose this place to travel to. Since he had a terrible track record with finding bullies. It was that or he had a very punchable face. The kinda face folks loved to mess with.
He wasn't sure if it was due to his more feminine hobbies, his manners or just his general geeky aura. "I will do my best to repay you for your kindness. I'd kinda be lost without you. I always get lost no matter what. Even in my neck of the woods." He ended with a light hearted chuckle.
Jerry's hand on his was much larger and while the skin was rougher the handshake captured the warmth and kindness expected from the man if you really got to know him. "I can start by paying for everything. I absolutely insist and I happen to be pretty into baking if you've ever got the sweet tooth."
Jerry always liked feeling useful. Since often due to his clumsiness he was seen as a bother to others. Perhaps another big factor on why he got bullied even into his 30s. "Oh I certainly have stories." He spoke giddily as he adjusted his glasses. "But I bet you do too right?"

I'm laughing because jerry would be so confused by the gen z speak the twink angels use. Not to mention jerry is from the 50s and does not swear unless pushed. I bet he would find jerry hilarious.

Jerry didn't see anything was out of the ordinary. After all she was a cat demon so calling herself a kitten didn't seem too strange. He was thrown off a bit by her expressions not to mention the dramatic posing she was doing.
In truth jerry would have no idea about her interests that she was obsessed with fantasy stuff like yaoi and books of the moster fucker genre until she told him.
Being from the time period he was all these things were foreign and unknown to the lizard demon in question. He was completely clueless but he pressed on. "Um no I won't be doing that actually. I know I'm big and a lizard demon. I also just tore some other demons to shreds so I guess that isn't helping my case with appearing non threatening."
Nor did the state of his clothes. His usual cozy and dorky sweater ripped to shreds but showing off his rippling muscles. "But I assure you I'm not the soul stealing type or the type to make you my slave." He spoke with a nervous chuckle waving his hands in front of himself in a frantic gesture.
It was then he took her hand and laid a kiss upon it. "My name is jerry and I am so very glad you are okay." He spoke in sheer relief. "I'm sorry your first day in hell was so violent and scary. It was like that for me when I first arrived too. Can I walk you home? It might make you feel safer."
The lizard blinked in confusion. He never thought he'd go in depth telling this story.
"Well I'd been getting frustrated with literally everyone pushing me around so I purchased a gun. That way if it happened again I could take my vengeance! Which I ended up doing when those three men tried robbing me at gun point. Instead I shot them. Over and over again. It felt good in the moment but I felt quite guilty afterwards." He hummed in thought. "I suppose it was messy. There was a lot of blood." To the point it made him sick. "A lot of it got on me actually which just made it worse."
" That's so fucking HOT. " Caleb bluntly replied, imagening the whole scene play out in his head. Sure, it had less serial killer vibes and more nerd who was pushed to his limits vibes... But murder was murder and the Incubus appreciated almost any bloody mess.
" You should kill more people, it's such a stress relief. You might be less anxious. "
"You really think so?" He knew it probably shouldn't have come as that much of surprise considering the type of demon caleb was but when dwelling on his past sins he thought of them as shameful rather than something that made him more attractive. "Oh i don't know. I think I could only kill again if I got really ticked off. Like if someone was threatening you." Even if he was well aware caleb could handle himself.
"Yes I'm afraid that's why I'm in hell. Up to that point I was squeaky clean but I suppose that should surprise no one." He said with a sigh. Rubbing the back of his neck in unease. "It was three men. I shot them. They were dead after the first couple shots in each of them but I just kept shooting until I was almost out of bullets. Repressed rage I suppose."
" Well don't stop THERE! Why did you kill 'em? Was it messy? DETAILS! I want DETAILS! " He grabbed Jerry to drag him to the sofa so he could get comfortable, listening to the Sinner's grisly story. For some reason, that only made Jerry more attractive in Caleb's eyes.

"Yes well it makes more sense when you consider what my original goals were. Given the time I came from I never would've even thought of having relations with another man."
He hadn't even known it was possible to like more than one gender back then. "My original goal was to be some lady's husband. Any sex would be after marriage and I always thought I would be the soft lovemaking type and not the more rough lover I am now. A lot has changed and quite fast too."
" I remember that time too well. Guys sure were doing their best to pretend they were straight. The trick is to fuck them inside the closet. " Caleb smirked, pulling some beads out from within the box and running his claw along each orb.
" So you were the whole traditional package huh? Shocker. You know, I don't think you ever told me how you died. " The Incubus put the beads down, turning with his ears slightly perked.
