Rewatching Once Upon A Time is realizing just how badly Regina has wanted to be loved and validated form the start. Watching the first episode alone makes my heart break for her.

Fading Spotlights

Fandom: Yellowjackets

Summary: Hit show 'Wild Things' began filming in May of 1996. After filming scandals and workplace accidents, the show was abruptly canceled after only 2 seasons. Still, the girls are haunted by what the public doesnt know.

Shauna stared blankly at the screen in front of her, theme music ringing around in her head like static. In her head she was alone. It was nothing but her and the boxy TV playing a montage in a inky black void. But that wasnt the case at all. In reality, she was surrounded by people.

Directors hung back and costume designers waited anxiously to see their creations on screen. Props managers and set designers and audio mixers all huddled around this small TV as if it were some light at the end of the tunnel. But of course, none of those people mattered. And if they did, they mattered for all the wrong reasons. No, the only people— the only real people around, were her castmates.

Ensemble and extra alike all sat together at the front, huddled together. They all waited to see their faces and hear their voices say lines they had been practicing for months. Except for Misty Fucking Quigly, of course, but she hung around anyway. She was always in places she didnt belong. But even she looked like she was going to be sick.

The directors and designers and managers all watched with excited, if not nervous, eyes. Waiting to see the finished product of years of hard work. Most of them had no clue what the girls were haunted by. Or that they were haunted at all. Meanwhile, ghosts pulled at the strings of the Wild Thungs cast, forcing them to look into their own doom.

The title card made Shauna's eye twitch.

This is mt first time publishing a fanfic so be nice lol (i dont know what im doing) Anyway, credit to @thekimspoblog and @bluemoonscape for the ideas to this lovely lovely fic!!
