The process at Circolo Scandinavo in Rome, Italy. November 2019.
June and my next solo exhibition at Photographic Gallery Hippolyte’s Studio space in Helsinki is getting closer. The space is nice, but small so only a few of these works will actually fit in the exhibition. It is time to “kill your darlings”.

Some newcomers for my ‘Vertical Horizons’ (2018-) series created in October 2019.
Some photos from my older series Saudade, 2012-2013.
Here’s three new works I created this week and last week. I’m totally loving these soft tones and spring like colors, not to mention the transparency. In March 2018 I was in an artist residency in Italy and during that time I was able reinvent my work process. Now, roughly a year later I feel the same. Again, I’ve found a new way of creating images with a flatbed scanner and I’m thrilled to say that the process feels fresh and bubbly. I’m really excited to see where this is taking me.
New process full of layers and transparency.
Here’s two images from a new series titled Field Works.

Yey! Guess what? I finally finished my first abstract block print! It comes in edition of four and I'm pretty happy how it turned out.
