it’s hard to change. be patient with yourself. you can do it, but it will be hard to do anything if you think you can’t or tell yourself you’re stupid or lazy. you have to believe that you can do something, even if you’ve never done it before, even if it’s hard to. shut off the thoughts that criticize you. they seem helpful or realistic but in reality, they are the only things holding you back. invite kind, encouraging thoughts in their place and everything will change.

I love remembering that making a wish by blowing dandelion seeds is a tiny little spell. Dandelion has spirit-calling, wish-granting properties and you whisper your wish to its babies to go off into the world and plant themselves and thrive in your name.
