Every time he went to the public pool, he would get his clothes stolen from his bag while he was still in the shower. And when he reported the robbery to the security, they would just brush him off and suggest he rent a locker next time to secure his belongings for a small additional fee. But being the cheapskate that he was, he continued leaving his bag out on the bench, never bothering to pay for a locker, and just accepting his naked fate and walk out of the pool in nothing but his birthday suit. Of course he knew it was the security themselves who were stealing his clothes to force him to get a locker, but he was persistent, and at one point, had just stopped wearing any clothes to the pool at all.
