Twisted from the king of hearts; Tease is a 17-year-old second year from the Queendom of Roses. His parents are affluent lawyers who specialize in medical law, and he grew up in a highly cushy, affectionate home. Consistent support from his parents encouraged him to become an amateur theater performer, and he currently does tours with the Queendom of Roses' royal theater troupe. Rumor says his unique magic developed relatively early, but he denies such claims himself. His unique magic "If I May" supposedly allows him to change what inhibits reality by twisting words and phrases: numerous accounts of students on campus claim that Tease has been spotted repeating certain phrases back to people with words slightly changed- a simple "I'm hungry" can be turned into "You're not hungry," for example, and the target of Tease's conversation will believe that in full. But again, this is just conjecture...
Relationships;
Riddle and Tease have known each other since childhood. Their parents were both relatively well-known and affluent individuals in the Queendom, and they've been business partners since before the two were born. It went hand in hand that their children would be appropriate "acquaintances" for each other.
Over the years, Tease has been pretty consistent with trying to introduce Riddle to things 'normal' children do; when out of sight from Mrs. Rosehearts, Tease would often cajole Riddle into silly games. This ended abruptly, however, when Tease went on his first theater tour at age 7. Riddle was left alone for years; during this time he met Trey and Che'nya, and the infamous tart incident occurred. By the time Tease returned at age 13, after many years of theater performances, Riddle was very different.
Despite the changes over time, the two are still affectionate with each other... although Tease can be very enabling about Riddle's less desirable and more aggressive habits, and Riddle tends to defend Tease's more unsavory manipulative habits. According to numerous Heartslabyul residents, Tease Lovelace is someone you don't want to get on bad terms with...
Despite the fact that Tease and Trey have somewhat similar affection for the same boy, this factor actually has made them more distant than anything. They get along relatively well on the surface, and if you asked Trey, he'd say he has no gripes or complaints about Tease.
Tease is a very different story, however. Students on campus whisper about how often Tease seems to interrupt Trey and Riddle's personal conversations... it's almost like he can't handle knowing Riddle had someone else there to fill the gaps he left in their years apart during childhood.
...But again, that's just a rumor. Don't take it too seriously.
Cater and Tease have grown friendly as a result of being in the same club. This applies to Tease with Lilia & Kalim, as well. It may seem somewhat surface-level at first, what with how the four appear to only ever exchange pleasantries and have positive moments with one another, but they actually do get along on a deeper level.
For example, Tease is among the only few to have seen Cater have a moment of silence and energy crash; he's seen Kalim get surprisingly rude; and he's listened to numerous stories about Lilia's many, many years on Twisted Wonderland's earth.
This close bond isn't something Tease shuts out, either. Cater, Lilia, and Kalim are among the only few to bear witness to Tease getting fully 'confident' and singing his heart out in a very uncharacteristic (to his meek personality) fashion.
...this is only 1/27 ocs that I have for TWST. not counting an entire separate girls school. LMAO pls don't flop...
