(not my usual post but i felt it tied to lady aphrodite so im posting this here!! - this is just me being a bit of a nerd, read if you wish!)

I honestly think people moved by this quote very quickly, the song fully but thats something else completely. This part of the song i feel holds so much power in itself, meaning to kind of scold the extend love has been polluted over the time.

This is not me at all saying love was ‘better in the 1900s’ cause thats not at all true, that time period was full of complete misogyny and i despise when people say that. Women were treated as nothing more than being able to build a home, children and ‘hold the family together’.

‘global warming’ could relate to the fact of how people began to marry, date with a lack of love, doing these just to have a partner, not for love, only to build a good image for themselves.

Love has never meant to be this way, its supposed to be a pure, vulnerable thing to share. Not just with your partner, with anyone. Friends, family, things in general (obviously, on different levels).

I honestly think people should return back to the way love is meant to be. Soft, gentle instead of the harsh way the internet has made it out to be.

Love was brought up to be a warm feeling, one that brings a sense of butterflies to your stomach, one which comforts, makes you feel needed in bad periods of your life. It runs through everyone. You’re made of thousands of generations of people that fell in love, why destroy that cycle now?

Love who you want. same gender, different religion, different race, different ethnicity, different culture. No matter how much people say you shouldn’t, do it anyway! do it for yourselves. Love will never be ‘bad’ and it shouldn’t be considered as such despite what anyone or anything says.

Can we pray to Greek deities even on our periods?

Im pretty sure we can, since theres no mention of periods being considered miasma in more ancient greece

again, not too sure on this one, but i personally do pray to aphrodite on my period :))

Do you have any book recommendation that accurately tells about Aphrodite worship and how it can be done?

And can Aphrodite be asked to helps in spells and witchcraft?

Bettany Hughes' book Venus and Aphrodite is a great book for how she was worshiped over time :))

And i personally haven’t tried any spells including Aphrodite unfortunately, but ill get back to you when i do!! (though, ive heard from many places she can be, but dont take my word for that one!!)
