Pre-ruffle, mid-ruffle, and post-ruffle Tenth Doctor Hair
David Tennant from the podcast commentary for Tooth and Claw (from the hair-messing-up scene above):
“I love the way Euros [Lyn, director] uses all these shots here to show the ideas all colliding at once
…and I love messing with my hair in moments like this, because it gives Steve, who does my make-up, a nightmare in continuity terms.
I like to keep him on his toes.”

Ferrera said it felt like she filmed 500 takes of the speech over the two days of filming, adding, “It was probably 30 to 50 full runs of it, top to bottom. By the end, [co-star Ariana Greenblatt] recited the monologue to me because she had memorized it because that’s how many times I had said it.”
Barbie (2023) dir. Greta Gerwig
The most basic, milquetoast girlboss feminism ever and people act like this film did something special. It's pop feminism. Beyonce feminism. Honestly the weird feminist rants were so out of place, they felt so unnatural and shoehorned into the movie. Like we were never gonna get any kind of actual substantial feminism in the movie, nor should there have been imo, but this tiktok feminism Added nothing to the film. Also if the movie wanted to be really feminist and about "girl power" and shit, there wouldn't have been the "5 o clock shadow" barbie. You know who I'm talking about.
What's really funny is that like, despite being an adult woman, I never got any of this shit. At all. a majority of women don't.
instant solutio is going "that's actually what YOU think women go through. and are blaming your inability to stop giving a shit about what other people think on everyone but yourself."
the solution to every single item up there is to realise it doesn't actually matter what people think and stop trying so desperately to fit in.
Oh and take your schizo meds because that level of paranoia about how everyone is out to get you is deranged.
