Day 8-100

I. Have. Returned.

Took some time for a laundry list of reasons. But hey, I have been writing. Getting my AU story figured out so when im comfortable enough to make comics, im that much closer.

Nothing crazy today. Decided to just doodle the lamb. No references, but definitely some subconscious inspiration from some of my favorite artists here. Always thought a braid would look cool despite that not being how wool works lmao.

Nothing today, needed a mental health day. Will be back at it tomorrow.

Day 7-100...

Today didn't go as planned. I kept getting distracted on my computer instead of actually drawing.... behold 8 hours of work 🤣

In all seriousness. I need to see a doctor about my adhd. Also, found my skill level finally. Advanced shape design. Basic lines, spheres and cubes aren't a problem, but irregular shapes are throwing me off, so now I know where to start. Working on an exercise from DrawLikeASir that's just drawing various simple pokemon. Expect to see alot of that for awhile until I got it down.

Day 6-100

First time working with mannequins. My proportions aren't quite right, but I had fun. Definitely going to be doing alot more.

Day 5-100

Quick little session. Not alot of time today. Some vanishing point perspective and my first attempt at some simple anatomy proportions. Didn't look good AT ALL, so I decided to come back to it later (probably tomorrow) and maybe study a bit more (watch youtube). But it's definitely my next step. The shapes aren't challenging enough, I need to push myself.

Day 4-100

Rough weekend, but im back at it. My friend (who's way better than me) told me to start sketching circles instead of trying to draw them in 1 stroke. I also found a DLAS video imma be trying for a while. No fun copies today, just fundamentals.

I also got some mechanical pencils finally lol

Tried a more complex lamb this time, wasn't feeling it today so I moved on to nari. Original art from Neon-virus

Day 2 of 100

So many circles lol. My copy of aveloka's lamb turned out better than I expected. The mouth was difficult and shading the wool was the only way I could get it to look decent to me..... I need to find my pencil sharpener lmao
