Game play testing I made 32 example cards- 8 items, 8 statements, 16 mutant characters I would draw a character card, then 5 random items and statements. Then I would make an offer to the character, using my items/ statements. I think in the gameplay it would be useful for each team to have paper they can write their answer on. The statement cards are useful as prompts to utilise the items.

Cards Against Humanity is a party game for horrible people. Unlike most of the party games you've played before, Cards Against Humanity is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends.

Final Document
I wrote the text as an essay (as opposed to a short book with chapters) and while it dose have sections, I felt it would read better as more of a continuously flowing document, so I was conscious to reflect that in the design.
It needed to look professional and sleek, adding the green spaces to help with continuity through the document.
I have two little series of images, spread throughout the document- I paired some images up with another from the series, but generally spaced them throughout to keep the document flowing, rather than sectioning it up.
The interactive PDF seemed to export with sight changes to the videos every time. It doesn’t support GIFs so I had to use short videos. Although aligned on indesign, sometimes there would be a tiny black boarder on a side of the video, which was very frustrating.
I also published the document on issuu (link to follow) but it does not support the interactivity so the videos are still.
SOCIAL MEDIA RECEPTION I already have a small audience on my personal social media account (facebook and instagram) so I felt it would be better to post my images on there rather than setting up a fresh account which would get very few views. From my first gif posted on instagram (aubergine) to the last (onion), each post got more and more likes. I gained roughly 10 followers, and people knew what to expect from my account as all the images followed a theme/ brand. The longer the gif loop, the fewer views it gets, as the viewer has to watch the whole loop to count as a one view. The Kardashian's rule social media so my images using them proved very popular.
FINAL IMAGE For all of thee images, I just scanned them in and cleaned them up on photoshop to make them look slicker and sharper.
IPAD SKETCHBOOK #7 I really felt colour would help these images, but I just didn't like the effect from using my ipad. I used water colour for this one which gave it a handmade, textured quality which is more successful than the flat colour from the iPad.
FACEBOOK POST I posted a request for participants to let me use their profile picture. I made sure to add a disclaimer so there's no offence caused, and people understand what it's about. Even still, I decided to only use people I knew would understand and also find the finished image funny. Inspired by Mr Bingos hate mail.
IPAD SKETCHBOOK #6 What your profile picture says about you. Using my own picture, I sketched it and added colour on my iPad. Again, the colour wasn't adding much so I went back to the original and just added text in a simple typography.
IPAD SKETCHBOOK #5 Thinking about continuing with the celebrity/ music theme, I wanted to draw rapper Stormzy famously singing along to Adele. Lyric- "I was at the O2 singing my lungs out rudeboy, you're never too big for Adele!" After having someone pose for reference, I decided it looked too generic and flat, and couldn't see it working so I moved on.
IPAD SKETCHBOOK #4 I used the app 'Sketches' to add colour and text to my first drawing from the 'What your profile picture says about you' series. While the text adds meaning to the image, the colour doesn't add anything. I think it would work better completely hand drawn than with the digital text, as there's a bit of a clash of styles. Also ditch the name as it's unnecessary.
