Please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks the Sailor Moon Crystal opening looks like it’s being put on fast forward on some parts.

I think it comes off like that because of very low frame-rate. Besides this animation team doesn't seem very capable where the dynamic animation is concerned which they often try to camouflage by using this awkward "speed up" technique.

I feel like people are completely forgetting that the 90s anime was also filled with a ton of questionable quality. They also seem to be under the impression that Crystal is something that has been worked on for two years… which isn’t the case. At all.

Say what you want about 20+ year old anime but at least people behind it knew how to draw human and animal bodies or how to animate human movement.
