Itâs a pretty unique family and thatâs what it is. Itâs one big giant dysfunctional family and we wouldnât have it any other way - Jensen

I can't bring myself to watch Jensen singing 'Simple Man' because I read a tweet saying Jensen shouldn't sing songs that are out of his league and another saying they got second hand embarrassment and I don't know if the fans that say he's amazing are just saying that because they're fans and want to be nice. The bad tweets were from big Jared fans. So is it good or not really? I'm scared to watch.
Hello sweetie!
For what itâs worth - and of course music like everything else is a question of taste -but maybe these people didnât like the version Jensen and Rich and Rob and Mark and Louden Swain played. Maybe they are just unnescessarily harsh. But on a purely subjective level I can with very much confidence and also musical knowledge and background tell you that this was hands down ONE OF THE BEST VERSIONS I personally have ever heard of the song. And I am saying this not as a Jensen fan, but someone who has written, played and recorded music and been on stage with bands half her life and purely as someone, who loves music (and has heard a lot of bad singing too).
And I donât mean to sound stuck up or anything like that, but saying you get second hand embarrassment is plain rude, because there is absolutely nothing, absolutely NOTHING anybody who was on that stage and least of all Jensen, who did a fantastic job, would have to be embarrassed or insecure about.
Sure, Skynyrd is a big name, âSimple Manâ is a big song, I think Jensen did freaking amazing. So I think people just need something to be bitter about and just as an aside: Anybody, who compares the live version with the album version of Skynyrd please allow yourself to keep in mind that this version with 99.9 % certainty was not recorded in one sing through, but maybe even over a stretch of days with autotune on it and tons of other flters and compressors. No way in hell could one ever compare a studio version with a live version.
Live lives from small mistakes and variations. Thatâs what makes it so wonderful. :)
So if you want my personal opinion on whether or not to watch, dear. Iâd say you miss out on a whole lot of beauty and emotion and musical magic if you donât listen to it. Itâs really, I think, the best I have ever heard Jensen sing, because he really opened up and let go, didnât think about what he did or the words, but just sang. With everything he got. And it was beautiful. :âD
Now go ahead and watch that video!!! :)
