I had such a crazy experience before, during, and after our final performance.
Over this past semester, I've had a really fun and interesting time getting to know who Faye was and is, and I look forward to possibly continuing to figure out more about them in future performances.
Getting ready before the performance, the energy in the room was infectious enthusiasm, and getting ready alongside everyone else was so great.
All of these pictures are during the getting ready phase, and I was super glad to have everyone to ask advice from. I was really proud of how this final makeup went, even if I think I could have pushed a couple things further, such as some of my conturing and a couple little things.
The performance itself went really well. Having so many people in the space was both exciting and a challenge for those of us that move through the audience as a major part of our performances. I like to think that I accepted that challenge head on, and went for it anyway.
There's a specific moment that stands out in that I walked straight into the crowd from the stage down the isle between the chairs, and I motioned for the audience to move out of my way, and when they did, I felt so powerful.
I've gotten so many compliments on my performance since them, and it's been very flattering, and I'm looking forwarding to reading the comments by the special guests
I really wish we could have gotten video of the performances though.
I'm so glad I got to have this experience, and hope I can do something like it in the furture.
