The most noticeable difference after leaving the Twisting Crescendo was the silence. Even on the edges, protected as they were by magic and the essential innate magic of clan Zephyr’s Wind Dragon, on days where the giant hurricane was subdued and slow there was always the background rush of wind; the snap of fabric and lines, creaking strain on airship timbers.

The peace of the Cloudsong was deafening.

But not as deafening as the party thrown that day.
