Hello everyone! We're back from our (unannounced) hiatus! :D Expect to see lots of posts from us again, and feel free to submit! ask | submit This is a blog for Dragon Age headcanons of all colors: serious, silly, controversial, sexy—anything goes! Keep in mind, however, that this is intended to be for sharing and discussion, not bashing. The Dragon Age universe, already expansive, is partially cultivated via the choices of the individual, and every player brings his or her own personal experiences and subsequent perspectives into the game. This means that there will inevitably be differences in interpretations for the characters, their actions, and game outcomes; thus, we ask that you respect the submitters, even if their headcanon is different from your own. If you use fanart in the making of your headcanon, please try to credit the original artist! Similarly, if you are the artist of a headcanon's artwork and do not wish for it to be used, let us know and we will take it down. The same rules stand for any drabbles/stories that are included in submissions.

"Bryce Cousland's little Spitfire"

My Jale Cousland was actually nicknamed Spitfire by Maric when she was visiting the castle at the age of eight. She wanted very much to go spar with her older brother's, but Anora was trying to get her to come with her out to the markets. Anora grabbed Jale's arm, and in return, Jale kicked her as hard as she could in the shins. From that moment, Maric could call her nothing other than Spitfire, and the rest of the noble men started to as well.

Bethany and Nathaniel are Grey Wardens together, and have slowly developed feelings for each other. On the other side, Carver has become Senior Warden. Even for his age, the other Wardens look up to him. He’s found his life’s calling, and finally belongs somewhere.

This is sort of a blend of confessions: Flemeth is Andraste, a mage, and the Maker a spirit/demon possessing her. The cultists worshiping the dragon in Origins are I don’t know, foreshadowing(?) as Flemeth can change her form to that of a dragon.

Malcolm Hawke accidentally gave each of his children a complex due to their upbringing.

Each of the Hawke children has spent their entire life comparing themselves to the high standards he left behind, and not even the Champion of Kirkwall feels s/he measures up.

Anders’ forehead is bigger in DA2 because between the two games he went bald. Now he wears a wig, but it’s badly fitted and shows more of his forehed.

Flemeth is either the Old God Razikale (the Dragon of Mystery), or one of the lesser, unnamed Old Gods.

Fenris has freckles all over his shoulders.

They’re much more sparse everywhere else, and nonexistent on his face, but on his shoulders…

everywhere.

Fenris has become the person in the group who is always making scatological jokes.  ”Hawke stepped in the poopy” during their misadventures with Tallis was only the beginning.

mage!Hawke is a virgin. They’ve been so busy running, hiding, and dealing with being a mage they never had a chance. Never had a chance to get close to anyone, or to trust anyone. They are to embaressed to tell their partner this fact, no matter who their partner is.

Varania had every intention to buy Fenris back from Danarius once she became a magister, or inherit him from Danarius once he died if the slave-holder would not part with her beloved Leto. She just wanted her family back.
