A child's future is not determined by the luxury you provide but by the values, wisdom, and strength you plant in their heart. There is little difference between a child whose naming ceremony was celebrated with many cows and another whose family could only afford a simple fish. Ceremonies and wealth do not determine destiny. Character, discipline, spiritual understanding, and preparation for life do.
You can give your child the finest clothes, expensive schools, and a life of comfort, but if you fail to teach them how to face life's challenges, overcome hardship, and stand firm when storms come, those material things will eventually fade. Wealth can be lost, but wisdom, faith, and good character remain.
The greatest gift a parent can give is not riches, but the tools to survive and fulfill their divine purpose. Teach your children honesty, humility, resilience, respect, and the value of hard work. Most importantly, teach them spirituality. Help them understand their divine destiny, honor their ancestors, seek wisdom, and draw strength from the Spirit in every season of life.
A child who knows their purpose will not be easily distracted. A child who is spiritually grounded will not be easily defeated. Raise your children to become fulfilled souls, not just wealthy people. Riches may open doors, but spiritual wisdom keeps them standing when life tests them.
