A lair of a dragon may be pretty. But not pleasant

♚ — “When else did you expect?” Teal eyes blink and he straightens his back, eyes focused on the woman. Ushering her to take a step back he lifts a foot slightly to move forward, wondering just when she’d follow along. “While we dance, I’d like to have a talk with you about something.”

"A talk? What about exactly?" Ah, so that dance, this should be easy then. Unless he adds a bunch of other steps and moves to the basic square...regardless, her foot follow his and shifted back a ways to balance and ready for the next  step.

♚ — “Right, Right.” A soft hum leaves him and as she offers her hand, he grabs it. Tugging her closer as he does so and his other arm circles her waist, the palm of his hand being pressed flat against the small of her back. “Are you ready Miss Clair?”

"O-oh you meant right now..." That sly sonnuva... A sigh left her and she shifted a hand to rest on his shoulder accordingly and readied her feet to the best of her ability, "... Ready."

♚ — “Aren’t I always? Now…Let me see your hand.”

"Sometimes, not all the time." Just as he asked, she offered her hand to him, not entirely sure why he wanted to see it though.

♚ — “Splendid. Just the answer I wanted to hear.”

Greet someone you haven''t seen in some time by clocking them in a face. Someone that runs a criminal organization. Someone that could potentially kill you on a whim.

♚ — A soft ‘oof’ leaves his lips when he’s dropped and he keeps the same calm expression. Same half lidded teal eyes and that slight smile that curved his lips as he looked at her.

♚ — “You’ve not changed a bit.”

"Don't push your luck, Periwinkle." She huffed a bit and stared at him, wanting to really take her frustration out on him but at the same time, how long had it been since they'd seen each other?

♚ — Teal hues stare into those deep blue irises that belonged to the dragon type gym leader. Surely his turtleneck was choking him at this point but all he could do was offer a smile and a soft laugh at just how serious she seemed. Things haven’t changed at all since he left. That is for sure and he only lifts one hand to place it over top of hers, chortling still at the situation.

♚ — “Well for starters,” He muses, “I wouldn’t be around to keep order of things. And you wouldn’t have your…punching bag.”

"...." Several moments pasted while she studied him, seemingly trying to pry him apart from the inside out before she curtly dropped him and rested her hands on her hips. "Jeez, just be glad you get to live. For now."
