A slightly distressed exclamation from the mouth of someone who just dropped a small bag full of candy on the ground. It wasn’t like the android couldn’t simply buy some more the next day–he worked with candy, after all–but still. It… well, frankly put, it sucked to drop something on the ground like that. And he’d made a mess, too. Unintentionally, but he wasn’t going to leave everything on the ground to melt in the heat of the sun.

“What a mess…!” Kaito murmured, kneeling down to begin picking up the scattered pieces of hard candy so he could at least dispose of them properly.

          ⋯ ◟ ✶  » ° → The young teenager blinked when lots of candies rolled towards him and landed against the tip of his shoes. Eh? Kanna crouched to pick a piece of candy up before glancing at the source of all the candies on the ground. Walking towards the stranger, he smiled brightly before crouching in front of him. “Let me help you pick them up. It’s a shame that you dropped all of them.”

Elise loved exploring new areas, even if it meant climbing over fences and through trees and getting muddy. But this time, she’d really tried to be careful, so the blonde became quite distressed when a tug at her dress told her that a chain had snagged the hem.

“Honestly!” The princess whined, wrestling with the fabric. Shocked at the sudden sound of her own name, she turned to look over her shoulder, only to be met with an unfamiliar face…and did they just call her ’Aunt Elise’? She was certain that none of her siblings had any children, though…

The young girl allowed the stranger to remove the chain from her clothing before turning to speak properly to them. “Um…thank you for getting rid of that chain.” Elise leant in, inspecting the boy’s features carefully before continuing. As she expected, she still had no clue. “But I’m really sorry, I just don’t know who you are…!”

         ⋯ ◟ ✶  » ° → “No need to thank me.” Kanna flashed her a gentle smile laced with happiness. It was a relief to encounter another relative of his in this foreign land. The first aunt he met failed to recognize him, but it would surely be different this time, right? He had to stay optimistic and believe in his mother’s younger sister.

        Now that they were reunited, they both could try to find a way out of this mess and return home together. The bright and jubilant expression on his face disappeared when he noticed the look on her face. Oh no. “... Aunt?” The joy he was experiencing vanished when she claimed that she did not recognize him. Not again. It was as if... he never existed. “It’s me! Your sister Corrin’s son! Kanna!” He desperately cried out, hoping that her memories of him would return.

{英雄} Something had just clicked with the blond haired wannabe hero as he saw that there were a bunch of miscreants taking out their frustrations on a defenseless kid who was clearly weaker than the others. In fact, the poor kid looked like he was about to cry as he got continuously bullied by the older people. Hands clenched into fists and the hero instinct flared up immensely as he hurtled himself between the kid and the aggressors and brandished a wooden sword. Even though his weapon was far from exemplary, there was a look of seriousness on the blue eyed boy’s face that scared the teens off. Thankfully, that was the last of the situation.

There was, however, one boy who had stayed behind after everything had resolved, one who very quickly claimed that Kyle jumping in like that had been ‘cool’ and ‘heroic’. This was enough to cause something to well up in him and immediately improve his mood. “Heheh, thanks!” He announced boisterously as he spun his sword and flipped it into the air, just to show off.

…It didn’t end well. Instead of flashily catching the weapon and looking even cooler, the tip of the weapon smacked him in head, bouncing off before clattering to the ground and staggering Kyle himself forward a few steps from the pain. Thank Atamoni it was a wooden sword, else he would have impaled himself in the head just now. Once that whole fiasco finished, Kyle just stood there rubbing his head, a slight blush finding his way to his cheeks in embarrassment.

          ⋯ ◟ ✶  » ° → It was always a pleasure to meet individuals who brandished their sword for those who needed their help. Even though he had nothing but a mere wooden sword to aid him, the stranger was willing to fight and teach the teenagers a lesson in bullying. It was admirable, but slightly worrying since he was a lone warrior fighting against a group of nasty people. Placing his hand on top of the hilt of his own wooden sword, Kanna was prepared to jump in if the situation did escalate into a battle. The last thing he wanted was for the courageous individual to get overpowered. Fortunately for him, the cowards scurried off after seeing the determination to protect in his blue eyes. Once again, justice prevailed!

          “I’m Kanna! What’s your name?” When the wooden sword was flung into the air, he naturally expected the other to swiftly catch it. However instead of catchng it, the sword landed on top of his head. The sound of wood clanging against hs head startled him. That sounded like it hurt. Kanna took a step forward and gazed at him with worried eyes. “Are you alright? That looked like it hurt.”

He tried to see this as an adventure, a chance to explore areas outside of his home country. There were so many foreign trinkets and sights in the land called ‘Hive City’. 

         Kanna assumed the strange rectangular objects that were faster than any wyvern he had ever seen would stop if they saw him, so he was about to blindly cross the street. A voice from behind caused him to stop in his tracks. He turned around to face the stranger. “... Are you speaking to me?” Pointing at himself, he blinked and wondered what was wrong.

     Being here, Sakura realized how utterly common her name was. Every time someone called her name, the poor princess would look around and realize that they weren’t talking to her. So when someone calls out ‘Aunty Sakura’ to her, Sakura pretty much doesn’t react at first.

     That is, until the young boy ran up to her, does Sakura react. And the reaction she gives is a mix of bewilderment and confusion. Aunty Sakura? The last time she checked, none of her siblings had children. Ryouma had yet to find a spouse, as did Hinoka and Takumi. Perhaps it was a childish nickname given to her? She wasn’t really aunt material.

     Red hues looks towards the boy in front of her, studying his appearance. Pointed ears is what sticks out the most ( a coincidence? no, there’s something fishy about this ), and it takes the princess some time before she answers him. Could this be…? No, Corrin had not mentioned a child or a husband.

     She looked around at first and slowly pointed to herself. “A-Are you… talking to me?” Not the smoothest response, but to be fair would anyone be smooth in this situation?

Why wasn’t she pleased to see him? Instead of feeling relieved to see a familiar face, she appeared to be perplexed. Her response caused him to blink in confusion. Did she not recognize him? Admittedly, it had been some time since he last visited her; but he never thought that she would forget her own nephew. “I am talking to you! Did you forget who I am aunt?" Placing a hand against his chest, he introduced himself to his aunt again. "It’s me, Kanna. Your sister, Corrin’s son.”

Shock washed over his expression when he noticed the person struggling to get her dress unhooked from the chain was none other than his aunt. The young teen didn't recognize her from afar; but now that he was closer, he could tell that she was undoubtedly his mother's younger sister. “Aunt Elise? I can’t believe it’s really you...” The young boy gently removed the fabric from the chain, careful not to rip the dress she was wearing. “Mother and the others must be terribly worried about the both of us...” Even though they were both trapped in a terrible situation, an optimistic smile appeared on his face. "But still, I'm happy to see a familiar face."

Kanna walked over to the source of the commotion and gently pushed past the large group of people to see who were causing a ruckus in the middle of the street. A frown settled on his features when he spotted a group of young teens ganging up against a helpless kid. This did not settle well with Kanna. Not only was no one taking a step forward to help him; but it seemed like they were more interested in watching a conflict unfold before them. This was ridiculous. Before he could stop this situation from escalating, someone unexpectedly stepped in.

          The cowardly bullies ran off once they realized the guy wasn’t kidding about beating them. After the situation was resolved, everyone but Kanna scattered about and left the scene of interest. “Woah! That was so cool!” He excitedly spoke, taking a step forward towards the stranger. “You’re like a hero!”

            ⋯ ◟ ✶  » ° → A dejected expression settled on the young boy’s face as he took a seat on the bench. He had been wandering around the foreign city for hours, attempting to find a way back home; but he couldn’t figure out how this place worked. There were strange equipment present; equipment he obviously couldn’t operate even if he tried. His mother and father was probably worried sick, which only made him more upset since he didn’t want to trouble them. The people who brought him here did inform him that there was no escape. Perhaps trying to find a way out was futile.

            No. He refused to give up that easily. Kanna was determined to find an exit out of this city. Getting up on his feet, he was about to start exploring again when he spotted a familiar face. The sight of his mother’s sister in the distance caused a smile to blossom on his face. “Aunty Sakura!” The prince ran towards her after calling out for her. “I haven’t seen you in a while.... I didn’t notice that you had been taken from Hoshido...”
