I am skye. I draw one dragon every day. Occasionally famed dragon expert Cornelius Coin will present thee with facts on the varied dragons of Ufirn. This also serves as my main art blog at the moment. Though drawings that aren't dragons are few and far inbetween. Temporary dragon hiatus

edit: to lessen the strain on myself, I'm gonna be posting a lot more sketches and unfinished pieces. lineart and full drawings will still appear, don't worry. Dragons are tagged with '#dragon' and '#dragons'

My lore pieces are tagged as '#ufirn lore'

(lore pieces as in-universe documents will be signed off by a fella named Cornelius Coin. lore that is not known by common folk is not signed.)

Non-dragon art will be tagged with '#clear blue'

Small dump of non-dragon art over the last few months while I was absent.

first row: Sir Izraphel, fallen Aasimar bard/paladin.

second: Peat Moss, earth genasi pallock who belongs to a friend of mine, might recognise him from [Here] and [Here] where i drew him as a dragon

third: a gryphon as a greater steed for Sir Izraphel

well i'm not sure about "more frequent". i've been doing this for technically 8 years, but i've been really slacking lately.... but! if i manage to stay focused for a few weeks i'd love to compare notes

As a wyrm ages, they develop three distinct types of magic. Spellcraft, Transformation, and Lair Manipulation.

Most wyrms learn enough transformation magic to grow wings. I am still unsure why they do this, as they are usually too heavy to fly with them anyway, using instead innate magic to do so. Regardless, most of them do use their transformation this way.

The Mordant Skull

is a death's-head fisher wyrm who specialised mainly in Lair Manipulation. That is to say, they control the very land around them that they call home. Water turns acid on their command, the land itself is an extension of their will. Truly terrifying.
