Return of the Messy Car Doodles- Requests Open until 9/7/2023

Hi all!

I'm finally going on a car trip for the first time in years. I'm stoked for it, but it'll be one of my longest in years- a total of 7 hours. I won't be driving the whole time, thankfully, but that means I can bring back....

MESSY CAR DOODLE REQUESTS!

Here's how this works:

I accept requests here or on @thecrazydragonlady for a head shot of 1-2 characters.

On the day of my travel, I draw as many as I can.

Doodles are 100% messy as I literally will be drawing them in a moving vehicle.

Examples: *Some of these were from the days of Tumblr's Drawing feature and I'm still sad it no longer exists.

Lookie! I finished Cure Prism with Cure Prism!

I had a lot of fun drawing this on stream and I'm glad I managed to get it finished before the end of March. :)

I was pretty hyped when Hirogaru Sky! Precure announced that one of their members was going to be a Cure Prism. Of course this absolutely means that Cure Prism (CLP) has to meet her!

I'm pretty hyped with how this turned out so far.

I've apparently decided that adding myself to a couple of different fandoms is what I'm doing for 2023. I've done like... original characters before, but I've not put myself-self in a lot of fandoms. Last month, it was Pokemon (for Ash's final journey), but I felt like heading back to Digimon this month since I'm back into Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory.

I'd also like to upload to Youtube, but I have no confidence, so the video I spent an hour editing (poorly, but edited) is going down below here.

Honestly, I'm PROUD of the fact that I've managed to rough out 3 1/2 whole comics for SLIME! It feels like I can do anything right now.

Things that went well:

One panel a day is great. Because I am doing a simplified style, even if I'm exhausted from the day job, I can totally get one rough sketch. Doesn't have to look good right now!

I'm glad I wrote that outline before I started my "resolution!" I'm also really glad I waited until the 16th to actually start it. I didn't feel like I was in a rush to suddenly change.

This is the big one- giving myself grace for the days that are just impossible to work. Did I work every single day? No. There were days in the past few weeks were the spoon drawer was just empty and I didn't have any energy to do the dishes. Those days of rest were so important.

I'm so excited to keep working on Slime! Part of me wants to go back and do the finals and start posting regularly so everyone can share in my excitement, but I won't. Story sketches first, then finals/ editing, then publication.

December's going to come way too fast!

Made some new headers. It just felt about time for them. Plus, I wanted to develop Magnolia a little bit more moving forward.

I'm meeting some goals and learning a bit!

"Slime" is my webcomic following the adventures of a little Slime trying to get by in the world. Today, I'm starting my goal to keep up with it. My biggest hope this year is to give regular updates on my process and start solid publishing in 2024. The first 8 comics are available now (just heads up) and I'm sorry if 2024 seems far away for the next comic, but I need to do this for me.

I'm excited. I'm nervous.

I made a PokeTrainer Sona! Main reason: I didn't really have one. Second reason: I wanted to art.

It's been a lot recently. I've wanted to quit my job so bad so many times, but without the security or the chances going well for me, that is impossible.

I'd like to imagine that I would have started or lived in Johto where I would have picked Cyndaquil as my first partner and then I'd travel just to travel. I'd like to meet Pokemon and I wouldn't mind taking on a few gyms. My whole team would eventually have: Typhlosion, Garchomp, Greninja, Breloom, Sylveon, Mudsdale, Tyrantrum, Goodra, Pawmot, and Noivern. Of course, I would have the ones who need to rest hanging out at home with my mom.
