Maple snarled. “Naiko.” She stood in front of Yaiko, her claws turning energized. “You! You think its okay to betray Mori, Muji, and your own sister? For what? For a cult that would kill you if you stepped out of line?”

Maple snarled, and Yaiko pulled out a small pistol as Naiko laughed. “You think that’s going to work, kitties?” He got close. 

Maple launched herself at him her pelt bristling and her energy claws fizzing with power. He would not hurt Yaiko!
