When you’re trying to have a moment with your daughter but she decides to pick a fight with mother nature herself.. 🦋
and i thought it wasnt possible for her to get MORE stunning
Caitlyn and Mel together: political functional badass duo, educated, dangerous, skilled. Took Ambessa down
Their partners together (vi and jayce): two dumb bitches telling each other "exactlyyyyy"
is there anything so undoing as a daughter?
The category is: A boy who has all of the makings of a great king, forced upon a war to save his scattered family, that dies before seeing them together again:
(they also have great hair, face cards that never decline, and daddy issues)
Baela and Moondancer, an old WIP from may but they liked it on Twitter so here it is
I know that this is probably going to sound a little insensitive, but I think that the HOTD actors should just not talk about the book when they're clearly talking about the show's version of events. I read an interview that Emma and Olivia took after the finale, and I cannot even tell you how big my eyes got at some of the stuff being said at the end of the article.
Like, have we learned nothing? How many times does it have to be said? Fire and Blood cannot be a form of Targaryen propaganda when it was actively written during the reign of Robert Baratheon when even talking about the Targaryens was considered akin to being forbidden. A book written by the maesters of the Citadel, an institution that has served Alicent's house for decades, who tries to find every way possible to somehow blame Alicent's misgivings to Rhaenyra, is in no way shape or form Targaryen propaganda. Yes, many times, Alicent is not excused for the same misogyny that Rhaenyra is put under, but these two women suffer from it on two very different levels, and it's not even comparable. Not even once is Alicent determined by who she is because of her gender or her genitalia the way Rhaenyra is, not just by the characters but by the many people depicting the accounts of the dance. How many times is Alicent called names in the book? How many times has she been undermined because of her gender? How many times has she been slandered for her character because of her gender? I'll tell you. None. Not even once. The cast has taken the script to be their Bible. there's a vast difference between the scripts and the book and obv the cast would want to align themselves with the script given their involvement in the show, but I just wish they would stop trying to gaslight me into believing that the show's changes have been done for a good reason and that they had the solid grounds to do so when they didn't. It's also very garing that those among them who have read the book, like Bethany Antonia, who plays Baela, and Steve Toussaint, who plays Corlys, have talked about wanting for more book's accurate scenes for their characters and being denied and laughed at by Ryan Condal, who shamelessly told them 'don't expect anything'. I really wonder if they're even going to have these sort of opinions when S3 drops, knowing now that GRR and Ryan Condal are not on good terms anymore.
tragedy lovers when the tragedy impacts them deeply: this is FUCKED UP. do it again and again forever please
