the fact that he mostly likes franchises, and thinks every single entry in those franchises is worth watching, is uncomfortable enough. but i'm very interested in the handful of standalone selections. lone survivor? the parent trap? american sniper? i now pronounce you chuck and larry? smokey and the bandit? sing? these are like a box of dvds at a large family's yard sale. do they have anything in common? what story does this tell us?

i can't find any meaning here at all, and i break out in a cold sweat every time i think about it. that is why i must do experiments on this guy's brain.
