Hi. Information about umistage ep.7 has finally been released. It’s been a year since ep.6 ended—a long year for us, too.

The decision of whether or not to create a production rests with the producer. She is the one who extends offers to the actors. She is the point of contact for everything regarding the performance. "I refuse to let something like this cause a cancellation." Those were the words she spoke to me during a break after watching last month's performance. She is a professional, and we are professionals, too. We will give it our all until the very end for the Umineko WTC fans who continue to support us. We’ll be waiting for you in Japan.

Togainu no Chi stageplay announced!

During today's 20th anniversary livestream it was announced that NITRO CHiRAL's first game, Togainu no Chi (originally released in 2005), is getting a stageplay adaptation! Live performances are scheduled to start in August 2025 and it will have five different routes/endings, featuring all of the main characters from the original game.

In the article published by eplus, director Norihito Nakayashiki comments that Togainu no Chi's stageplay adaptation is like a dream come true, and he's really excited to experience the story once again through the performances of the actors. Screenwriter Hiroki Uchida also mentions that he's pouring his heart and soul into writing the script of this stageplay, to breathe new life into the beloved visual novel Togainu no Chi. Takahashi Yuri, who will play the role of protagonist Akira in the stageplay, expresses his gratitude to be part of a production that is loved by so many people.

I was wondering which stageplay they would announce next, but since it's also Togainu no Chi's 20th anniversary today, it makes sense that this is the next project they're working on! Next year is Slow Damage's 5th anniversary, so I'm curious if a Slow Damage stageplay will also be announced then. I really enjoyed all of the previous stageplay adaptations and appreciated how they managed to keep the BL elements, despite of course not being able to show full 18+ scenes. I hope they will livestream this one too! Also no Kau in the cast list, but I don't know if I should be surprised.

Butai SangCheng!

I respect SangCheng shippers if they ship it because NHS trust JC for protecting the witness in his grand scheme but I show no respect to others who ship them and treat it as a leverage to hate on XiCheng or Jiang Cheng. As if Lan Xichen is better than NHS and JC. He might be less violent but guy is blind and flawed like Jiang Cheng.
